I work by appointment only, so it is best to schedule at least 24/48 hours in advance! Same day appointments are extremely rare! Leave all your insecurities at the door! The only elephant I want in my massage studio is the adorable elephant lamp. I am a blind massage therapist, and I have been license since 2010. I chose to build my practice in a commercial building setting instead of a spa, I want you to be the focus not just another body on the table. if this is not something you are comfortable with and please don’t hesitate to find not only the right therapist for you but a setting that you are comfortable with. your for babies are welcome to come along!

I had a wonderful experience at Mystic Massage. Shirley gave me a 90 minute therapeutic massage, and I feel so much better now. I’ve had some chronic issues with my shoulders and neck as of late, and she was able to hit all the right places and work out those knots! She was professional, attentive, and nurturing. She truly has an enhanced sense of touch and is one of the most gifted massage therapists I’ve come by.

I love Shirley! I went to massage therapy school and am incredibly picky. Shirley knows what she is doing and is incredibly talented and masterful at her craft. Some of these reviews mention the location as a deterrent. It is true that it is in an office space that is a little out dated, BUT that is how she keeps her prices so unbelievably reasonable. She is as talented as a Four Seasons massage therapist at a third of the cost. If you want to be wowed with a white robe and mimosa when you arrive, this is not the place for you. If you want someone well trained, affordable, and actually works your muscles in a way that makes a lasting difference check out Mystic Massage.

I started going to Shirley a year or two ago because of my back and shoulder pain, every time I leave her the difference is amazing. I put my body through a lot at work so my back and shoulders always have a lot of knots and she always finds a way to get the majority out if not all of them. I love the fact that she is blind because that means she is used to feeling everything that someone with vision might miss, and I love that she doesn’t miss anything. Her room may be a tad bit small, however she does everything she can to make it inviting and make sure it relaxes me as well, also love the fact that she changes the sheets between clients so we know we no one else has been on them. Shirley is my massage therapist for life.

Strangest location, building difficult to get around in as the suite numbers do not go in any specific order. The ROOM was literally the size of a large walk in closet and it was dark and not the cleanest. Massage was not what I am used too. Shirley was nice but I will not be going back.

I initially wrote a negative review but decided to change it as the masseuse reached out to me to talk about options and offer refunding my groupon. I had initially been turned away from my massage at Mystic Massage after being in traffic to get to the appointment. Once I got there she asked me a variety of health questions and when I mentioned that I am 10 weeks pregnant, she said she wouldn’t massage a client who is in their first trimester. I was disappointed to go home empty handed and upset because I didn’t realize that this was the policy for mystic massage. I very much appreciate her contacting me after I left to discuss options.

Disgusting customer service! I received reminder email the day before my massage & reminder text the day of my massage– yet received a voicemail 15 minutes prior to the appointment that she overbooked herself & cancelled me. She also redeemed my Groupon even though she provided no service to me. I’m still in shock at the lack of professionalism!!
