It's completely safe to share your Bitcoin address with anyone - friends, family, or associates. Your Bitcoin cannot be taken by simply using your Bitcoin address. To do so, one would need both your address and its corresponding private key. But it's worth noting that since the Bitcoin network operates on a public ledger, anyone with knowledge of your Bitcoin address can track your balance and every transaction you've made using that address through a tool known as a Bitcoin block explorer. If privacy is a concern for you, you may want to consider using a new Bitcoin address. Fortunately, that's easy to do! The Bitcoin.com Wallet app enables you to create new Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency addresses in a few taps. You can also set up the app to automatically generate a new address every time you receive Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Here's how.
