- Conduct regular quality control checks on all products, including but not limited to visual inspections, taste tests, and label verifications.
- Ensure all products meet or exceed food safety regulations and guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control checks and communicate any discrepancies or concerns to management.
- Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing and production, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the entire supply chain.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to food safety and quality control.
- Train and educate team members on proper quality control procedures and food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment and facilities to ensure they are meeting sanitation and safety standards.
- Investigate any customer complaints related to product quality and work with the appropriate departments to resolve issues.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to the quality control process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Knowledge Of Quality Assurance Standards: A Quality Assurance Associate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Food Safety And Quality Standards, Such As Haccp And Gmp, To Ensure Compliance With Regulations And Industry Best Practices.
Attention To Detail: As A Key Member Of The Quality Assurance Team, An Associate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify Potential Quality Issues And Take Corrective Actions To Maintain High Standards Of Quality.
Analytical Skills: Quality Assurance Associates Must Be Able To Collect And Analyze Data, Perform Root Cause Analysis, And Make Recommendations For Process Improvements To Enhance Product Quality And Safety.
Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As Associates Must Communicate With Various Departments And External Stakeholders To Ensure Quality Standards Are Met And Maintained.
Organizational Skills: With Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities, A Quality Assurance Associate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Prioritize And Manage Their Workload Efficiently. This Includes Maintaining Accurate Records, Tracking And Reporting Quality Metrics, And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
