🏆Congratulations to our Condor of the Month, Interim President Oscar Cobian! Dr. Cobian was selected by our faculty’s academic senate for his leadership in the interim president role over the past two years and for his heart-felt service to our students, employees, and community. 🤝 “Dr. Cobian has offered us (faculty, classified professionals, and our students alike) the steadfast leadership and support that we needed to weather uncertainty, turbulence, and some stressful times,” shared Dr. Ish*ta Edwards, faculty member and treasurer for the academic senate. “With his unassuming and friendly personality and his active presence at all college events and across the college, he has been one of the most accessible and visible presidents at OC that I can remember over my 3+ decades of service here.”🎓 The proud son of immigrants who moved to Ventura County for a better life, Dr. Cobian has built a career paying it forward by helping generations of local students access higher education and lead successful lives. He has enhanced Oxnard College’s reputation, grown our enrollments and services, and bolstered our partnerships throughout the community.Thank you for your dedication and leadership, Dr. Cobian!#OxnardCollege #VenturaCounty
