05/18/2024 0726hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a person firing a handgun too close to a neighbor’s house on Mercer Road in New Sharon.
05/18/2024 0744hrs, Deputy Gray received a 911 call in Eustis. The source of the call was not located.
05/18/2024 0900hrs, Sheriff Nichols and Chief Lowell participated in a speaking engagement at the Wilton Fish and Game.
05/18/2024 1031hrs, Deputy Morgan received information of the possible location of two stolen bikes from a summer camp in Weld.
05/18/2024 1339hrs, Deputy Morgan received a 911 call on the Ross Road in Industry. This was a landline issue, no emergency.
05/18/2024 1955hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a call on Birches Beach Road in Rangeley Plt. where it was reported that unknown individuals were underneath the residence of the complainant stealing his plumbing. Deputy Wacome could find no evidence of anyone being near the residence or underneath of it.
05/19/2024 0840hrs, Deputy Morgan received a request for a welfare check to be conducted on the Rand Road in Industry. The person to be checked was located and found to be okay.
05/19/2024 0845hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of a vehicle driving back and forth in a blue Subaru at a high rate of speed on the Temple Road in Temple. He was unable to locate the vehicle.
05/19/2024 0918hrs, Deputy Gray received a 911 call originating from the Town and lake Motel. This apparently was an accidental dial. No issues were reported.
05/19/2024 0940hrs, Deputy Gray received a 911 call from a residence on the Gile Road in Rangeley. This was an accidental dial.
05/19/2024 1017hrs, Deputy Gray received a request for a welfare check to be conducted at a residence on Fuller Street in Rangeley. The person to be checked was located and found to be okay.
05/19/2024 1133hrs, Deputy Morgan received a 911 call at a residence on Bailey Hill Road in New Sharon. This was an accidental dial.
05/19/2024 1233hrs, Deputy Morgan conducted a traffic stop on the Town Farm Road in Farmington. As a result of the stop, he arrested Nicole Waas (39) of Phillips for Operating a motor vehicle after being declared a Habitual Offender and Violating Conditions of Release. She was transported to jail.
05/19/2024 1647hrs, Sgt. Sholan investigated a complaint at a residence on the River Road in Carthage where it was reported that a family member of the complainant was threatening to kill the caller’s chickens.
05/19/2024 2042hrs, Sgt. Sholan received a complaint of a single vehicle accident on the Industry Road in Industry. Investigation revealed that a black Volkswagen Jetta which had no plates was in a ditch. The driver had fled the scene, the case is still under investigation.
05/20/2024 0407hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a car vs. deer accident on the Rangeley Road in Avon. Michael Bryant (55) of Lisbon Falls was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 when the collision occurred.
05/20/2024 0826hrs, Lt. St. Laurent arrested Brent LeClair (49) of Readfield on Warrant after he turned himself in at dispatch.
05/20/2024 0936hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a complaint between neighbors on Pleasant Street in Rangeley.
05/20/2024 1113hrs, Deputy Gray received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked on Spring Road in Rangeley. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.
05/20/2024 1130hrs, Det. Davol investigated an online attempted fraud complaint on Forest Hill Road in Temple.
05/20/1608hrs, Deputy Clement received a 911 call on Main Street in Kingfield. The source of the call was not located.
05/20/2024 1614hrs, Deputy Frost received a business alarm at the Saddleback Ridge Wind Project in Carthage. All was secure.
05/20/2024 1757hrs, Deputy Frost received a harassment complaint at a residence on the Paul Road in Chesterville. No crime was identified.
05/20/2024 2029hrs, Deputy Frost assisted UMF police with a suspicious person on South Street in Farmington.
05/21/2024 0637hrs, Sheriff Nichols assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on the Farmington Falls Road in New Sharon.
05/21/2024 0651hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro received and investigated an identity theft complaint at a residence in Kingfield.
05/21/2024 0911hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro received a complaint of a car being driven in an erratic manner on the Lexington Road in Kingfield. He was able to locate the car and driver, no violation.
05/21/2024 1140hrs, Deputy Couture served a PFA on an individual at a residence on Zion’s Hill Road in Chesterville.
05/21/2024 1248hrs, Deputy Couture received a 911 call at a residence on West Side Drive in Weld. This was a pocket dial by someone mowing their lawn.
05/21/2024 1307hrs, Deputy Couture assisted Wilton Police with a traffic stop on Depot Street in Wilton with a request for a K-9.
05/21/2024 1755hrs, Deputy Clement received a 911 call at Cathedral Pines Campground in Eustis. This was a pocket dial by a camper, no emergency.
05/21/2024 1849hrs, Deputy Wacome assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on the River Road in Avon.
05/21/2024 1956hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a harassment complaint at a residence on the Dixfield Road in Weld. As a result of the investigation Patrick Lowe (43) of Weld was charged with Harassment.
05/21/2024 2040hrs, Deputy Clement received a parking complaint at a camp site in Eustis. Since the site was in the forest the caller was advised to contact Forest Wardens if not gone in the morning.
05/21/2024 1217hrs, Deputy Frost received a 911 call at a residence on Eagle Ridge Road in Kingfield. This was an accidental dial.
05/22/2024 1021hrs, Deputy Couture received a property line complaint at a residence on Dixfield Road in Weld. This was a civil issue.
05/22/2024 1040hrs, Deputy Davol received a DHHS referral to investigate in Phillips.
05/22/2024 1257hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a complaint about explosions coming from a sand pit on Gordon Hill Road in Chesterville. This turned out to be the State Police Bomb Team conducting training.
05/22/2024 1309hrs, Deputy Couture received a 911 call at a residence on Mile Square Road in Avon. This was an accidental dial.
05/22/2024 1402hrs, Deputy Couture received a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Sandy Pond Road in Chesterville. No charges were filed, verbal only.
05/22/2024 1405hrs, Deputy Frost arrested Stephen Haines (50) of Phillips on Warrant at a residence on Blake Hill Road in Philips. He was transported to jail without incident.
05/22/2024 1444hrs, Deputy Couture received a road hazard complaint on the Borough Road in Chesterville.
05/22/2024 1448hrs, Deputy Couture investigated a late report of a truck vs. sign at Dunkin Donuts in New Sharon. The event occurred a month ago, one of the Dollar General Trucks hit the sign but the company has not resolved the issue.
05/22/2024 1453hrs, Det. Richards received a request for a welfare check at a residence on Calvin Gray Road in Madrid Twp. He discovered that the person to be checked on had passed away while in hospital care. The caller was notified.
05/22/2024 1641hrs, Deputy Sholan received a 911 call on Beanies Beach Road in Strong, this was an accidental dial.
05/22/2024 1738hrs, Deputy Frost received a 911 call at a residence on Coburn Road in Carthage. This was an accidental dial.
05/22/2024 1632hrs, Det. Davol conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Rangeley. As a result of the stop Noah Baker (45) of Gardiner was charged with Operating with a Suspended Registration and Violation of Conditions of Release.
05/22/2024 1700hrs, Deputy Wacome assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on Norton Hill Road in Strong.
05/22/2024 1707hrs, Sgt. Sholan received a residential alarm at a residence on Varnum Pond Road in temple. This was a homeowner error.
05/22/2024 1759hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Chesterville Hill Road in Chesterville. This turned out to be a dispute between neighbors.
05/22/2024 1922hrs, Deputy Clement assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on Route 27 in Wyman Twp.
05/22/2024 2104hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a car vs. deer accident on Route 27 in New Vineyard. Sarah Rowe (41) of New Vineyard was driving a 2024 Mazda when the collision occurred.
05/22/2024 2137hrs, Deputy Clement responded to a car vs. moose accident on the Rangeley Road in Madrid. Florian Sinclair (30) of Rumford was driving a 2012 Mazda when the collision occurred. No injuries were reported.
05/22/2024 2219hs, Sgt. Sholan received information of a man with warrants for his arrest allegedly camping off the end of School Street in Eustis. Investigation revealed that the man was actually in Somerset County.
05/23/2024 0919hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro received a 911 call at a residence on Bray Hill Road in Phillips. This was an accidental dial.
05/23/2024 1009hrs, Deputy Gray received an aggressive dog complaint at a residence on Cummings Hill Road in Temple. He was able to contact the local ACO who responded.
05/23/2024 1036hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro attempted to locate a man who had multiple warrants for his arrest camping at the end of School Street in Eustis.
05/23/2024 1114hrs, Deputy Gray received a complaint of lack of road signs regarding road maintenance on the Farmington Falls Road in New Sharon.
05/23/2024 1303hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro received a 911 call at a residence on Main Street in Kingfield. This was an accidental dial.
05/23/2024 1306hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro assisted a tractor trailer driver with a disabled truck on Route 27 in Eustis.
05/23/2024 1557hrs, Sgt. Bean and K-9 Bain responded to a request for a K-9 by Livermore Falls Police.
05/23/2024 1935hrs, Deputy Wacome received a motor vehicle complaint on Cape Cod Hill Road in New Sharon where it was reported that a person was revving their engines.
05/23/2024 2034hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a missing persons complaint at a residence on the Vienna Road in Chesterville. Wacome was able to locate the juvenile on Chesterville Hill Road in Chesterville.
05/24/2024 0821hrs, Deputy DiSilvestro received a complaint of a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on Main Street in Kingfield.
05/24/2024 1114hrs, Deputy Couture received a 911 call on River Road in Madrid. This was a medical emergency, and the victim was transported to FMH by Northstar.
05/24/2024 1332hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a request for a K-9 at Wal Mart in Farmington at the request of Farmington Police. Request was cancelled prior to arrival.
05/24/2024 1615hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the Intervale Road in New Sharon.
05/24/2024 1635hrs, Deputy Elmes conducted a traffic stop on High Street in Rangeley. As a result of the stop Conner Christian (21) of Sandy River Plt. was charged with Attaching False Plates.
05/24/2024 1855hrs, Deputy Wacome received a request for a welfare check on Jersey Ave. in New Sharon. The person to be checked was located and found to be okay.
05/24/2024 1947hrs, Deputy Elmes investigated a threatening complaint on Culverts Camping Site in Eustis.
05/24/2024 2009hrs, Deputy Wacome investigated a harassment complaint at a residence on the Ridge Road in Chesterville.
05/24/2024 2110hrs, Deputy Wacome responded to a report of individuals driving recklessly on Adams Road in Chesterville.
05/24/2024 2255hrs, Deputy Elmes received a 911 call at a residence on Main Street in Kingfield. This was an accidental dial.
