What to do with a container in Stranded Deep? ›

It can be used to store items, same as your backpack. Currently each of the containers has 5 storage slots (5 on console). It is useful to expand your backpack storage, so you can carry more items from other islands back to your main island.

Before cut down, the panel is called a container wall. Panels can be obtained by hitting a wall of a container repeatedly with a cutting tool. Once cut loose, right click the panel and drag it away from the container. Then the panel can be used in a building on top of a floor or foundation as the wall of a building.

To craft a bigger raft, you have to first make 1 base, then while the raft is in a flat spot (preferably in water) attach a second (and all subsequent) raft part via crafting menu and attach the "ghost" base onto the first base.... in otherwords you cannot fully craft separate bases and then connect them together,,, ...
