Technically, Clemson tied with TCU for third place in the college World Series in 2010. Do they even recognize the third place winner? It’s like winning Miss congeniality, right?

Good team, but we were facing depth pitching. Pleased with how we've looked the last couple of days but I'm not taking too much from it. Definitely could win a regional if we play our best ball

Hang on hang on hang. I know that fool isn’t trying to say the committee paired South Carolina and Clemson in 2002 and 2010 because they met in Omaha. They were literally half of the last teams standing when they met. The only way they could have paired them further away is to have them potentially meet in the championship (boy that would’ve been sweet).
Yes, 2011/2012/2013/2016 they were paired in regionals and potential supers. I didn’t really care for that. We beat their tails in 2012 and they weren’t man enough to show up to the fight in the other 3 years. But I really don’t care for rivalry meetings in regionals and super regionals. I like seeing other teams from around here. An ACC team, a SOCON team, a CUSA team, or whatever. Carolina vs Clemson should be avoided in the postseason if possible, IMO. It’s added pressure in a situation that doesn’t lack pressure. There’s already plenty.
But to say they were paired to match up in Omaha is lazy, lazy writing.
