Pretty cool, a little creepy but ya know, it’s a vibe. Probably haunted, the ice from the trees was falling off and hitting us, I think the spirits just wanted two more friends to hang out with forever.

Interesting spot in Memphis. Memorial Gardens is a beautiful property where loved ones can be laid to rest. In the center of the gardens is the crystal grotto surrounded by a small water feature. The grotto features a variety of sculptures and art depicting the life and journey of Christ. Plan 20-30 minutes maximum to experience the grotto and explore the exterior area.

Dionicio Rodriguez works are amazing. This should be a must see if you can make the time. I drove just to see it.

Unique little shrine within the cemetery. Beautifully decorated and unkept. A must see while we traveled through Memphis

I APPRECIATE the art work preserved to bring people closer to God by a very unique presentation of Jesus Christ.This grotto is one of a kind! Step back into time when you step into the crystal cave! Turn to the left and sign the guestbook. Follow the left side around to see a depiction of the Savior from his birth, life of servant hood and miracles, transfiguration, death, burial, resurrection and ascension into Heaven.Along with the garden and spring, this is a place of peace, prayer and serenity amoung surroundinf fields of death.Check out my pics and give a thumbs up if this helps!

Such a neat creative endeavor. Has a cave like feel but is very short walking display. Located within a cemetery so respect of the area is warranted, but worth a stop.

A little difficult to find but well worth the trip. So peaceful and beauty beyond compare from the outside to the interior. If you are a rock hound this is a must see to experience. One man’s show of love to the love of his life.

It's very pretty for sure. It's very neat to see. It's filled with a bunch of Christian mythology and fables, but if that's your thing, you'll definitely enjoy it. It's got a little donation shrine and a sign in book to leave your name and a little message.

The plague at the entrance says "if your visit...has elevated your spiritual thoughts, stimulated a deeper reverence for the founder of Christianity....the builders efforts will have been served".And it certainly has ❤️✝️

The Crystal Shrine Grotto is small and quaint. It was man made in the 1900s. Once you cross a tiny bridge, the area consists of a pond with a fountain, a chain locked cavern, a stump called Abrahams Oak, a small grassy area called God's Garden perfect for a picnic, and of course the Grotto itself. The entryway is narrow and uneven, so if you have anyone with any mobility issues, it might be difficult if not impossible to get into the grotto itself. It is very dark, and some lights were either turned off or burnt out. The darkness near the back of the crystal cave was a little creepy. At least the baby Jesus was there when we went on 9/25/21! I preferred the outside sections compared to the crystal cave. The stump was the highlight for me and my family. It was shaded, had instrumental hymn music playing and felt very relaxing. It is located inside a cemetery, and there are funerals here several times a day. While it's a nice place to visit, it's also important to be mindful of others who might be there for a very different reason.

Amazing to see. In a really pretty cemetery and would be worth your time to linger around and enjoy the scenery beyond just this one cavern area. But certainly the crystal cavern is something unique and interesting. They have it lit with very pretty lights that shine through the crystals.

I would love to give this 5 stars. But my experience being here, was not pleasant. I came to take my nephew to see the crystal shrine. 10 mins after we arrived that's when the white pickup truck came, and a man inside was watching us, the whole time we were there. When we left, that's when the truck left.

Never quite understood what this place was until my visit today. It is a quartz “cave” in the middle of a large cemetery. Inside are different tableaus from the Christian Bible. It’s unique, but I wonder if it truly rated being on the National Register of Historic Places.If you miss it, you have not missed too much.

I'm always happy to get a chance to visit the Grotto! It is so peaceful, it truly reduces your stress just walking up the path:) It is located in Memorial Park and Gardens and is also a beautiful Final Resting Place if that is ever needed 😀

Very nice park with plenty of paved biking trails and dirt hiking/biking trails. Check the visitor center to take a look at the large park map. Clean restrooms and a small concession area. Lots of small lakes and you can rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.

Really cool park with tons of different things for kids to climb and swing on. Nice picnic areas and decent public restrooms. There are paddle boats when weather is warmer and some kind of pay zipline that was closed

Miles and miles of acreage to enjoy the great outdoors. I've been cycling and walking here and feel like I only scratched the surface of what is offered. Always something new to do when visiting! A great place to appreciate nature, be active, take the family out or even on a cute date!

First time visiting this park and it was lovely. We didn't get to see the bison roaming, but we didn't have enough time to search for them either. Kids enjoyed the play area, the open trails here are very free roaming. Pet friendly. Zip lines located here as well. I wish we had parks like this back in FL.

A nice place to unwind stress in Memphis and environs. A vast area with cycling 🚲 ground and a water body for water sports suchasfishing. Children's amusem*nt sites for shrills and gigglings. Convenient place for Get-together for friends and family, picnics and parties 🥳 🎉 ✨️.

Beautiful, clean park. Clean, modern restrooms. Plenty of parking / ease of access. I was here for kayaks and co*cktails and had a ton of fun first of all with the hour or so of kayaking tour and then with the food, drinks, and activities.

My fiancé and I did the canoe and co*cktails tour with the added dinner for our anniversary. We both had a blast! Nice atmosphere, friendly workers, very inexpensive and the view was beyond gorgeous. Our only complaint was the food & beer we were served afterwards. Other than that, we had an amazing time and we’ll definitely be back to do it again!

Hyde lake is a good place to go and walk, run or cycle for exercise. There are separate paths first foot and cycle traffic but unfortunately it’s no longer marked clearly so when walking you have to pay attention to avoid cyclists and people on those damn electric scooters! Refreshing the signage would help a lot. Also, they don’t know the difference between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.The off leash dog area is an awesome feature.

I visit a LOT of parks (producing events) and honestly this on has to be at the top of the list!! Take a long walk on one of there many trails and see for yourself! Beautiful views of the lake from every side. That’s not all there’s beautiful architecture, buildings, artwork, landscaping etc.

The best park I've ever been to, though I haven't been to many large parks like this. Hyde Lake is a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise/sunset. Kayaks, canoes, ziplines, rental bikes, special events, rental pavilions, seafood restaurant, souvenir shop, restrooms, grills, Tour de Wolf mountain bike path, children's play area, large sand box, swinging benches, walkable trails, dedicated no-leash dog park, Buffalo, horseback riding—lots of things to do here! There's a dedicated separate biking path around Hyde Lake, just watch out for oblivious walkers who don't know what the bike images all over the path mean.The big negative? Being located in Memphis means you will encounter some ghetto people, complete with cringe-worthy inappropriate outfits, gang clothing, loud rap music from portable speakers, and the occasional uncontrolled Pitbull. The staff does an excellent job cleaning up all their trash that they carelessly litter about.Despite several large lakes/ponds, there is nowhere to actually swim. They have an overpriced splash pad that you have to reserve by time slot, but no pool. There's also no place to change clothes for the splash pad. It is probably for the best that there is no public pool here, since the ghetto element would show up and swim in their dirty boxers, old gym shorts, and nasty socks. Enforcing appropriate swimwear would be a nightmare for staff, since the go-to response would always be to pull the race/racism card.Whether you want to enjoy the sights, view wildlife, ride horses, kayak, bike, or many other things, you just can't go wrong with Shelby Farms.

This park is beautiful and well maintained. I visited from out of town during my visit to Memphis. We enjoyed walking around the park but the attractions are expensive. The splash pad is $12 per person for a small water area. There were no other kids playing in it and we didn't pay for it either. Every attraction costs money. Some are reasonable, and others are not.

I love the improvements Shelby Farms has made! It looks great. The grounds have been really well maintained, and the fact we can host huge events like what is pictured, the park architects have done an amazing job.I also love the spots around the grounds where you can do different activities like the zip line and paddle boards, fishing and the beautiful nature views.It is also really important to keep the buffalo in the city. The area they are now is great, I just hope they grow the area.

Last summer we canoed with our canoe at Hyde Lake. Saturday, September 2, we rented 2 single person kayaks. We had a blast The crew at the boat house were helpful in getting our lifejackets and launching us. The lake is beautiful and very clean. In fact the entire park is very clean. Our only issue was that there isn't clear signage for the boathouse.

I am a frequent visitor at Shelby Farms Park. It is one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and harmonious. The restroom and playground are always clean and pleasant smelling. It is dog-friendly. The picnic areIs always cleaned and well organized. The aesthetic beauty of Shelby Farms Park is wonderful. I highly recommend this place to go and relax and enjoy yourself alone and/or with family and friends. You won't be disappointed.

A premier Urban Park in the heart of Memphis. Beautiful lakes, peaceful walking past and plenty of fun outdoors activities. This gem should never be taken for granted.

Great place to ride bikes, scooters, roller blades with your friends or family or by yourself. There is little shade by the lake but the walking trail along the lake is one of our favorite attractions at the park.

It's a very nice clean park. I love the trail. I like how they offer a separate bike trail and walk trail during most of the trail. The lake view makes the walk not seem long!! Love it.

Attended a wedding here and Shelby Farms. Was an incredible venue with a spectacular sunset.During the morning before the wedding the grooms party went for a long run around the Shelby grounds.So much going on for people of all ages.

This is such a beautiful place so close to home. Full of trails, trees, wildlife. We sure love it 🍀🌲🐝🦌

Had a great one night stay here at site 29 which according to the Ranger is one of the more popular spots and I can see why. The hiking trail that leads to the backwoods sites links to the back and leads to one of the most spectacular cliffside views ever. Excellent history behind this location and the gift shop/ check-in is a good place to get information about that. There are also many other things to do besides just camping and hiking like most state parks. This one in particular is well maintained and even has a basketball court. I'll definitely be back when it warms up for some kayaking.

Great little museum to tell you the history of the fort! We also stayed in the very well updated campground. Would highly recommend both.

I never knew the history of Fort Pillow. It was fascinating. The interpretive center was awesome.The best part of our visit was the campground. It is the nicest TN State Park we have stayed at. The park was clean, the Ranger was extremely friendly and helpful when we were having difficulties. The frequent drive-throughs by the Ranger made us feel safe.It is a great place for a quiet camping experience. 5+ 🌟

Absolutely loved this park. The hiking trails are a nice challenge with plenty of obstacles. Several different lengths to choose from (friend and I did 4 miles). Sullivans pond is beautiful in the summertime. Museum is small with a wide array of artifacts from the war. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Decent, but small and dated visitors center.If you are visiting for the history, after the long, out of the way drive, get ready for an unecessarily long drive to the visitor center and fort path trailhead. Then get ready for an unnecessarily long and winding path to the fort site (which itself is well maintained and presented). The park should really have two entrances and more direct access. The walking trail goes along another road that did not have a dedicated trailhead or access to the visitor center.

Great small state park with amazing park rangers and staff! Plenty of room between campsites, two great play grounds for kids and clean restrooms and showers. Mandy does a great job with her creativity for activities with the kids. Awesome pontoon tour by Tyson! If you want a nice quite shady place to just chill and enjoy nature this is a great little gem in West TN!

Nice museum and some challenging hiking trails. The main trail is 8 miles and has quite a bit of elevation change, would be tough for kids and beginners.

I've been camping here off and on for years. It's very nice park and well kept grounds but what separates this park from others is the staff. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and just down right good folks. Everyone you come in contact with is nice and friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay there is enjoyable. Can't say enough good things about the people who run this state park.

We really enjoyed our camping trip here. The park was quiet and the campsites were beautiful. Watch out for the bandit raccoons at the campsites. They will rob you right in front of your eyes!The bathrooms are clean, though I did find the setup a little odd. There is only one toilet and shower in the bathroom and they are in a shared room, meaning only one camper can be in there at a time. There were portable toilets outside the bathhouse, which is supposed to be a fix for this problem I’d assume.There is NO ice on the premises so be prepared to make a trip to the store to replenish your ice if it’s really hot. It was about 100 degrees when we were there and we had to leave the park to buy ice. It’d be nice if there were some available on site to purchase. They have your back for firewood though. The bundles even come with little starters and it’s $5 a bundle. Just wave one of the staff members down while they’re driving by.The lake/pond is a nice little area of the park. We took our kayaks out for a spin and enjoyed watching the wildlife.I will say that we attempted to hike the Chickasaw Bluff Trail, but near the end it was overgrown with kudzu so we never got the reward of the view and did all that work for nothing. :-(Jordan, the seasonal interpreter, was lovely to chat with. We went on one of her guided hikes and you can tell she really loves both learning and teaching. She shared lots of knowledge on our way to the fort.All in all, we will definitely return. We loved camping here.

The campgrounds were clean. The park ranger made frequent rounds.

Love it here! So peaceful and great trails to hike. We camped there last weekend at the primitive site and it was great. Had our own bonfire area and outhouse.(don't enter outhouse if your not friendly with huge spiders though lol) Trail is very hilly to get to site so be prepared for a good workout hike to get all your gear out there, but worth it. They have other campsites you can drive up to though if you'd prefer that.

This is my second visit. I absolutely love to come here. My grandmother and mother used to visit everytime they were close and I feel almost like I'm walking in there footsteps when I visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a different experience and it really puts life into perspective. I highly recommend a visit here.

Nicely set up museum. Worth a visit if you are in the area and looking for some good insight on Alex Haley.

Beautiful landmark with Alex's grave on his family property. History is extraordinary. The tour guy Richard was very knowledgeable and funny too. I enjoyed myself very much.

The best curator ever. The history the gentleman shared with us was second to none. It was the best walk through Alex Haley n Family's life. A pleasure to also visit the gift shop and take history home with us...Bravo

Now that's a trip worth visiting.Alex Haley Museum was always on our bucket list and we finally made a trip to experience and explore this amazing place.There is nothing that comes close to how well it is managed, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the quality of knowledge gained.The house is very well preserved with all original items.I must admit it is well worth the visit when you are in this area.People from all over the united states and other parts of the world have visited this museum.Side note: you must watch roots and roots the next generation to understand further and how Alex traced his roots all the way to Gambia, Africa and how the Old African Kunta Kinte who was captured and sold as a slave into the USA.Kunta Kinte was one of Haley's ancestors, a Gambian Muslim man who was born in 1750, enslaved, and taken to America where he died in 1822.There is no picture which can truly describe the real experience.Must Visit, Highly Recommend⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Learned a lot about Haley’s early formative years and what led to the writing of the book Roots. Great tour! The house has many family photos and is period correct with items that the Parker family would have used. The house sits in the neighborhood where towns people drive and there are different informational markers around the house. His parents first courted here and eventually married. It is also the burial site for Alex.The entrance and interpretive center is behind the house.

Unfortunately did not have time to visit. Museum, but definitely worth a visit to a place of super importance yo history.

I love Alex Haley. Didn't get to go inside, but it felt good being able to see the house he grew up in and his burial site.

Best location ever recommended by a billboard!This was like a holy pilgrimage for me as I have been a Tina Turner AND Delta Blues fan since childhood.This museum combined both, along with displays of Native American artifacts from the area and wildlife common to the river delta.The museum staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help first time visitors. The gift shop is nice, but the keychain I bought broke within a week. Should have bought a mug, instead.

The museum actually had three in total, a nature one, a cotton, and a rock and roll museum. It wasn’t as expected I wished the whole museum was about Tina other than that we like it. Although the other museums were very informational kind of hid the history about cotton but it’s ok.

Such a great find. The people here are kind and friendly. Stumbled onto the Tina Turner Museum. This place also has a Cotton museum and West Tennessee Music museum . They also knew Barbara Blue and sold her CDs. We were stopping to use the restrooms and really lucked out. The Tina Turner museum has her actual school house.

This is a great place to stop and stretch your legs on a road trip, or to visit if you are in the area. All the museums are free and the staff is helpful. In the main building of the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center you can learn about the history of how cotton was made, local artists, local wildlife, among other things. There are also plenty of travel brochures and a small gift shop. Outside of the main building you can tour the house of Sleepy John Estes and the school house of Tina Turner.

AWESOME!! we did a overnight through Harvest Host, our first one at that, and we loved it!! The museum was so cool and the gift shop. They are even Pet Friendly and was so sweet about our 5 month old barking at everything due to his excitement. If we are in the area we will definitely stay again. If you are not set up for boondocking/drydocking, you may want to reconsider there are no hookups. We wanted to try it and still loved it.#rvnewadventures#tinaturnermuseum

What a wonderful visit...we were in Sleepy John Estes 2 room shotgun home AND Tina Turner's one room school house. The center has incredible pictures and memorabilia of Tina Turner, including displays of her incredible gowns! It's well worth the visit, just for Tina's memorabilia, and if you don't know Sleepy John Estes...look him up and listen to his music! What legends! And they are from Haywood County Tennessee. Check out Brownsville Tennessee! What an interesting place! Don't miss Livingston's Diner, just off the Square, in the old US Post Office!If the Mustard Seed resale store is open; nothing over $20, and great home goods and clothing! Check it out on Facebook.

Small little museum and so full of history. You get to see the rebuilt School that Tina Turner attended as well as the rebuilt home that blues legend Sleepy John Estes lived in. Great history on other Jazz and Blues legends, some Elvis Memorabilia, great history on the Hatchie River and on cotton processing too.

Mary and Will welcomed me like family:) I spent 2 hours touring the 2 buildings outside and 3 rooms inside. Nice detailed displays of aquariums, music history, Tina Turner schoolhouse & life, local history and the cotton industry; among others. Also has gift shop. An extensive collection of tourist/travel pamphlets for TN and surrounding states. Please visit this little gem if you're in west Tenn:)

The Tennessee Safari Park is an extreme amount of fun. If you feed the animals while out driving, you’ll end up laughing as the animals invade your personal space and join you in your vehicle. There are deer, camels, alpaca, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, cranes, ostrich, emu, rhea, and many more. They’ll be glad to eat whatever food you bring for them. Currently it is $24 per person and $10 for 4 buckets of food. If you like feeding them, buy at least 8 buckets or you’ll run out before you get half-way through. The peering zoo part is also nice. Birds, monkeys, fox, giraffe, and tons of goats. You can feed them as well. Anyway, this is the most possible fun you can have in the area. I go every year when I’m in the area and can’t possibly recommend this enough. Such fun and such up close experiences with the animals.

Today, we went to this zoo. It was an easy drive and noticeable entrance. The bathrooms are clean and cute. The animal food was not over priced. It was not expensive. There was a gift shop full of gear and rocks and candy and snacks. We got to the counter for the walk in zoo at 4:29 I know because I ran, as I’m asking for food she says they can no longer sell more. We were a party of 11 & understood they closed at five. So I say no big deal, we walk through the zoo anyways. On our way back towards the monkeys we were approached at 4:53 and asked to start exiting.Listen, I know this is a family business but we loved your place and we as paying customers should be trusted to exit when you close at 5pm.Customer service needs improvement but the place is well kept, clean and so many amazingly beautiful animals.

Absolutely worth every cent! The drive through lasts about 2+ hrs then there's the walk through petting Zoo. They've expanded the drive through pastures so the Bison no longer cause traffic jams, and there's A LOT of new animals running around...tapir, Wildebeest, Midnight Peaco*cks, red river hogs and more. My oldest loves hand-feeding carrots to George the Giraffe, my middle kid loves the aviary and my youngest loves getting lost in the goat herd at the petting zoo. Plan for 3-4 hrs there.

Have you ever fed a camel? A zebra? A bison? Ostriches? Deer? Other animals similar to deer that I don’t remember the names of? Cows? Alpaca? A giraffe?This place is awesome. Worth every cent. We got 5 buckets for two adults and a toddler and it went a good ways. 6 may have been preferable.The petting zoo / zoo area was fun.Seriously one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Be careful because some of the animals will literally steal your entire bowl of food if you don’t hold on tightly! They know what they want.

This is the absolute best if you have not been. If your nervous about some of the animals if we rolled up the windows they just moved on to the next car. Nothing but laughs and smiles from my boys the entire time, I have a 4 year old and a 17 month old and I went alone with them. Get there when they open it took us about 4 hours to do all of it at an enjoyable pace for us. The staff was super friendly and so were the animals. They all looked healthy and happy. They have lots of room to roam. We will be back!

My children and I love this place, we come every year. We live 2 in a half hours away so we always get up early on a Saturday to get there before they open, because if not, you could wait hours to get in, one time we went in the afternoon around 2pm and waited 2 hours. And the animals were not hungry anymore, so it was not as fun. But when they are hungry it is hilarious and fun.

What a fantastic trip. I think I enjoyed it even more than my kids. I will warn you, the Camels and Llamas will block you in and snatch your feed buckets from you. We also had one large gal rub her neck on the hood of the car and leave a small dent for memories lol Definitely worth the 2 hour drive.

Had an absolute blast feeding the animals snd taking pictures with the kids! Absolutely recommended it to anyone looking for a great time with their family or incredible pictures of animals up close! This place is great!

Smooth entry and ticket/feed purchasing. LOTS of animals to feed. I’d suggest 12 feed buckets if you really love feeding animals. We did 8 and wish we had done 12. There are some areas that can get “cargested” (like what I did there…) but they swoop in and help keep things moving without rushing those that are still trying to enjoy specific animals. Be cognizant of things on your dash - clean it off before you go through. I may be missing something from my dash now. Don’t worry, I called and let them know immediately what happened, which animal it was and it’s location. The holding areas for the other animals isn’t great (cats) and it made me pretty sad and it’s the main reason for the dropped star, just for your own information. Would I go again? Yes, I’d just likely do the drive thru only. The giraffe feeding is worth going into the walk through area at least once for sure though!!

I have been visiting the Safari Park for several years. It continues to grow and improve. My 12-year-old daughter and her cousin enjoy going very much. The shop is nice. The renovations were a very nice upgrade. I have not seen a movie but it is on my to-do list. I highly recommend this spot for family fun even on a hot day as you are in your car. The animals are always fun to watch and interact with just watch your food bucket.

Wonderful day trip. Had a. Amazing time. You can spend hours looking and feeding the animals. Some will rip those food buckets right out of your hands, they know what they are doing! Definitely buy a lot more food than you think you want.The only improvement I would add is informational signs. They do sell guidebooks, and maybe the animals would destroy the signs. But if you come when they have the walk through portion open, it gets a little confusing on where to go.

We had a great time! Hold on tight to the food buckets! Those animals are really good at taking them! So much laughter and excitement! The staff was great and very helpful too! The animals are well cared for and very friendly!

This was an awesome alternative to a zoo. You get to touch most of the animals but be aware because they are smart and will steal your feed bucket right out of your hands. They don't go for the feed in the bucket but just take the whole bucket. It was a camel for me and my wife.The walk through zoo section is also pretty cool. It's not big but a good size as to not get tired walking in the heat with kids. It also has lots of animals I haven't seen at bigger zoos.

I've been to this Safari park 2 times, and I have really enjoyed it. It's so much fun!we went there really early so we didn't wait much to enter. The whole family loved it. You get to see all different kinds of animals and feed them. The entry price and the price for the animal food is also not expensive. I really recommend this place. You'll love it!!!

We live 2.5 hours away. We headed out for a day trip. We got there almost at opening time. The line was about 30 minutes long at this point. We waited in line, which moved quickly. I bought $20.00 worth of feed, which was 4 or 5 bucks for $10.00. At first, I thought we had way too much food - but then... My kiddo dropped two of the plastic buckets of food in my car. I should've brought a cake pan to dump the feed in, and it would have been easier for the animals to eat. Two more buckets went to those strong camels. I'd suggest you save food for the end. Those animals do not get fed as much. We didn't do the walk through zoo and the end. We saw the sloth, and the kiddo bought a bag of stones to mine. It was such a fun experience, we'll definitely go again.

This was our second visit, and again, it never disappointed us! We had the best time being greeted by hungry ostriches, deer, lamas, and more. They even stuck their head in the window, seeking sustenance we bought. It's definitely an experience and money well spent.

We brought a school group here for a field trip. They had an absolute party riding the tourbus and feeding the animals. After the tour, they got to explore on their own and feed the giraffe and the baby goats. Pretty sure, we teachers and faculty members, enjoyed it just as much as the kids did!

Guy at the booth said that a lot of people get 16 buckets of food. Right. We got 8 because we knew we'd go around twice. Easily could have gone with 6. It's nice that you can go around as many times as you want. Very diverse collection of animals, especially in the zoo. Better than some city zoos. Totally worth buying a cup of carrots to feed the giraffe. Had a great time. The second time around the ostriches were not as aggressive but be prepared.

Amazing park. I didn't know what to expect before I went and I was surprised to see that I was actually touching the park animals! Some very cute and curious and some just ignored us. All of the animals appear to be very healthy and well fed. We will be back!

Nothing but good things to say about this place drove two hours from my town in Tennessee.Recommend getting a lot of food four bucket is not a lot !! Giraffes are at the end of the drive! Head up!Such an amazing experience for all ages me and my husband had a great time!

I wanted to give this place five stars because of the uniqueness & peace of mind you can find strolling through the woods. However, the city should really invest more into the safety of its occupants. My grandson could have fallen right through the walk way with the missing board or been badly hurt by breaking his tiny foot or leg.Use caution ⚠️ but enjoy the calming beauty of Tennessee cypress trees.

Beautiful park with great scenery! Be very careful though. There are multiple parts of the path where boards are missing..making you step over some sketchy looking holes that someone could very easily trip over or fall into. Other than that I would definitely recommend this park!

Such a gem on the drive between Nashville and Memphis! It was a hot day when we went, but the boardwalk is shaded and cool. The entire walk was peaceful and a great place to stretch our legs on a long drive down I-40. Some reviews mentioned broken boards, but all were repaired when we went.

While the walk is really enjoyable, the disarray of the boardwalk makes the experience not as enjoyable. You have to spend more time watching where you walk than anything. The area over the pond was taken care of more than the rest. While enjoyable as an experience, there is a sense of anxiety from the boardwalk. Would easily give this a 4 or 5 star if the boardwalk was better maintained.

This is a lovely place to have a date & walk on the boardwalk. There were numerous owls & Hawks to look at in their designated cages. My Husband & I enjoyed the beauty of the woods and the water combo. I hope one day they will upgrade the boardwalks & fix the damaged parts that are blocked off.But I'd definitely recommend the community checking it out!

This is a very lovely area full of large old cypress trees. The boardwalk is in pretty bad shape and some areas are closed, but this morning there were 4 workmen there preparing to replace the entire boardwalk with pressure treated lumber. Once it is finished it will be a relaxing, tranquil place for anyone to enjoy.

The park could use a little more upkeep than it gets, but if people would stop with graffiti and litter, most of the problems will be solved. The boardwalk takes you through some beautiful scenery.

Even though it has most definitely seen better days, it's still a very enjoyable walk. On days like today where the heats up to about 93 the canopy of the trees make a cooler spot to get the blood flowing right. The aviary wasn't very energetic, but well kept. Hate to see so much graffiti in a place such as this but kids will be kids(even grown ones). Also has a few nice pavilions for resting or picnics or whatever else may come about on your stroll, and clean restroom facilities.

What a delightful little museum. It took about one hour for us to leisurely walk through with a curious and thoughtful four year old. Then he spent thirty more minutes playing with the train tables at the end. You could do it a lot faster if desired. Nicely curated, older but well maintained. I really enjoyed looking at his house. Definitely a great value and worth stopping at for a nice, clean rest area on the way through town. People there were super nice.

It was so good to learn about Casey Jones aka John Luther Jones. He died a hero. Saved many lives.

This little village has all sorts of neat things to see and do. The museum has great video and lots to see during the walk through of the museum. There is so much history at the museum, and it even has an engine replica. There is plenty of parking and also has EV Charging Stations. Everyone was so nice and friendly, and the staff knew their history. The home of Casey Jones and his wife was moved on site and available for tours as well. Great place to spend a few hours.

Stopped to eat here after having heard of the great buffet. The food didn’t disappoint. Everything I had was delicious and I’m stuffed. Went to buy some candy and found one of my old favorites. Each had a price tag of $1.99. Decided I’d buy three at that price. Lady at the register rang them up and the total was more than I anticipated. I asked if they were $1.99 each and she said they were $2.99 each. I had to find change to cover the additional amount. I wouldn’t have bought them had I known they were each a dollar more. The rating of three stars for our stop there, is because they charged me more at the register than the prices on the candy. (pics included.) I admit the white tags on the white part of the wrapper is hard to see, but they were all tagged and she didn’t even bother to look. That is not great customer service. I would have loved to fix this on the spot, but didn’t have time to go back in and wait in line to ask someone else.

This a neat museum to stop and see. The price was only $5.50 for seniors and $6.50 for everyone else. There was a small media center that tells the life of Casey Jones but they didn’t play the great full dead song. There is Casey’s house and a train to climb on and take pictures great gift shop

This was a nice detour for a name we’ve heard before, but didn’t know anything about. Ample, easy parking. Very quick detour off the highway. Staff was extraordinarily friendly. Exhibit was a perfect balance of information and hands on things for the entire family. Gift shop had a good variety of souvenirs for the Casey Jones museum, trains, and general travel trinkets.

This is a little hidden gem that should be visited. Lots of history and memorabilia to be seen and you can even go inside the steam engine. We had a great time

Had a wonderful time with my young grandsons who really like trains in Jackson TN visiting the Casey Jones Museum and home. Casey Jones’ home was moved to the site furnished as it was when and wife lived in it.

Very nice and informative railroad museum. Casey Jones house. Restaurant with good food and an old country store. If you own a Tesla there are 24 charging bays with some pull through spaces.

He was famously killed when his passenger train collided with a stalled freight train at Vaughan, Mississippi. Jones was known for always being on time, even if that meant pushing the limits and rules of operating a locomotive. Jones, however, expertly handled the locomotive when disaster could no longer be averted ensuring the only life lost that day was his own. He was immortalized in the song “the Ballad of Casey Jones.” The museum is part of an entire plaza of buildings with an historic flair! Lots of fun! The museum staff were super friendly and very helpful!

Went here with my family and two of us were extremely ill after leaving. I had to choke down 1 bite of the cobbler while trying not to gag due to it tasting bad. The only other thing the two of us had that the others did not was the chicken. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back. The one star is because the customer service was great.

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 6. It looked just like the photos online. It was nice with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, it did have roaches and ants. The trails were absolutely beautiful. Most were maintained well with the exception of the Owen Springs trail. There were several trees still down that had been laying for awhile and the trail was not marked very well. We ended up getting lost a few times on that specific trail. Everyone we encountered was very nice. The aviary was also nice to visit and see the birds with the kids since it is right beside the picnic area. They also enjoyed the playground and seeing the horses at the stables. This is a very beautiful park with trails. It made for a nice little getaway for a couple of days.

Chickasaw State Park is a lovely place to relax and explore. Cabin #1 was clean and well maintained. It's historic and a little on the rustic side, but beautiful. I especially loved the twin bedroom with the windows overlooking the lake and the rocking chairs on the patio overlooking the lake. The staff we encountered were friendly and professional.

Beautiful park that is well maintained!! The cabins look well furnished. Saw many families sitting around enjoying the bonfire pits and playground. The lake is crystal clear - which is rare to find in this area! Can't wait to come back and go hiking!!

Camped here twice this year with kids and enjoyed both times. The park and trails are maintained. Bathrooms were always clean. We did a 1 hour trail ride and our guide was sweet as pie and patient with the kids. Some tent spots are better than others. 109 is one of the best in my opinions because it backs up to the lake. In the summer, they have the perfect little sand beach and swim spot. The only thing that would make it better is if they had an actual restaurant or convenient store with needed items. You don't have any food options so pack what you need or drive several miles to the nearest grocery store. The cabins are also super nice. Overall, i would recommend.

One of my favorite TN State Parks to camp in. We have a TC and camp in the primitive camping area. Can literally step out the door and cast my fishing line. Plus, it's only 7 miles or so to Henderson, TN, if you forget anything , and the camp store isn't open.

Beautiful Park, Great Facilities and EXCEPTIONAL Camp Host.We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved the park. The parking spaces were spacious, the amenities were clean and everyone was super friendly.What took our experience to a whole new level and made THE difference for us was the camp hosts - Paul and Sharon.Paul and Sharon were our "angels." They helped us tremendously in setting up our RV for the first time (we are newbies). Paul and Sharon gave us the tour of the area, were kind, gentle and knowledgeable with all aspects of camping. They are the reason we are coming back next March.We arrived at the park as strangers, and within hours of being there, thanks to Paul and Sharon, felt at home. What AMAZING and beautiful souls they both are. We will always be deeply grateful for their help, guidance and support. Chickasaw is very lucky to have them. 🥰🥰💖💖

Got in too late to really take advantage of this beautiful park. All kinds of hiking, fishing, riding horses, and just enjoying outside. We camped in the rv section. Nice flat campsites. I have never seen cleaner and warmer showers in a campground! They have pictures on the bathroom walls! Definitely want to come back. Tuesday night, so it was very quiet.

This is one of the neatest nature parks I've ever been to. Went with a group and we had a blast. Enjoyed the paddle boats, the nature hike the staff took us on was really cool. Loved the view of the water and the picnic areas were perfectly positioned in the shade.It was exceptionally clean from the grounds to the bathrooms.This is a must visit. I will be visiting again God willing.

Very beautiful, plenty of things to do. We had a nice romantic picnic. The trails looked so very inviting, I wish I had had the ability to hike them. They also have horses to ride. Cabins you can rent. It's all pretty impressive. Absolutely loved it and will be going back soon.

What a beautiful park! There are some great trails, gorgeous trees, and a beautiful lake. There's camping available, also cabins you can rent.

Still one of the best State parks in the area. Camping, boating, hiking, swimming, and many other things are all right here in a relatively safe and clean environment with bath houses and full cabins. Prices are decent on rentals as well as camping spots and there is an aviary upon entry free to enjoy.

We camped here for New Years weekend in our new RV. While we don't have many other campgrounds to compare it to, we really enjoyed our time there and the park as a whole. The park was clean, quiet, and beautiful. I also stayed in one of the cabins when I was younger and remember having a great experience as well. There are a ton of activities to do there, but most were closed for the season. We are looking forward to visiting again during the spring/summer. Would highly recommend.

Visited for a wedding venue in a stone building with all stained wood interior. Was really excellent. Great vibe with a great backdrop. Only nitpick is the ceiling fans have seen better days, but they add to the charm.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's still one of the most beautiful state parks in Tennessee! We especially love it in the Fall. The reflection of the trees over Lake Placid is the view from the campground and it's nice to see while enjoying some campfire coffee.

A very cool place to visit. Great for kids and families. If you're a fan of cars from movies and TV shows, this is the place for you. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. You can go at your own pace, take as many pictures as you want. It's never too crowded. They are always swapping out vehicles and getting new ones. I even met Paul Michael Glaser, Starsky from Starsky and Hutch there once!

My daughter and I had a great time with a great friend. This is a great hidden gem in Jackson that has almost every movie memorabilia pause cars you can imagine. I would recommend this place to my friends and family

This was a self guided tour. I recognize almost all the cars instantly and a lot of those brought back very fond memories from my childhood. It seemed like the background music was also tied to the area I was in, I'm sure that was coincidental but was neat. Wish they had some merch. And was guided but for 10bucks well worth a stop and see.

Just wonderful, they have a nice collection of cars used in great movies! It is accessible, a good price, the route is easy and there are not many people!

Awesome place!! Found on Google and is literally in the middle of no where but well worth going to. Rusty is awesome and his collection of cars is incredible. A must go to.

We had our grandson for a week, which unfortunately wouldn’t allow to go during normal hours. I called Rusty and explained our situation, he allowed us to come to his museum during the week. We arrived and Rusty was there to let us in, he made us feel very welcomed. Our visit was amazing my grandson who is 3.75 had a blast, I’m much older and I found a bunch cars that brought back great for me also. My bride aka Maw Maw had fun watching us being boys with our cars. All and all I highly recommend Rusty’s for family trip. Thank you again to Rusty for helping me making a special memory for my grandson and myself.

We had a great time exploring Rusty’s and all the TV and Movie cars he has! Some of the vehicles have been used on set and some created by the owner with amazing detail. It was 100% worth the cost to visit! Definitely recommend visiting

If you live through the 80s and the 90s you will be shrieking with excitement. It is my understanding that these are all replicas but they are very very very good replicas. It’s a fun side trip and people that like to collect things and know how to display them are gifted in my opinion.

It was a neat collection and fun for the whole family. Only minus was some moments were a little difficult for my son's sensory issues, but he powered through. The people were nice, and I am sure they would have accommodated his needs if we asked. 😀

Absolutely loved our stay in the cub lake cabins! Fully equipped kitchen was great. The buffet at the pin oak lodge was very good. Folks at the lodge were very nice, very accommodating and super helpful. We did plenty of fishing, kayaking, and hiking during our stay. Would recommend for anyone looking for something more than just a hotel room!

First time staying in a state park cabin and it was awesome. We did not want to leave. We had a great view of the lake, everything we needed as far as utensils, pots, pans, and towels was in the cabin. The only problem we had was there was not a tv in the cabin and no WiFi however, we brought a projector and projector screen and used our phones for connection. Other than that, we are looking forward to booking another cabin soon.

We paid $29 for one night. It was $27 + $5, reservation fee, + $2.75 taxes, - $6.75 for seniors + $.76, round up donation = $29.As were on our way from point A to B, we only stayed one night. I would love to go back & stay longer. First, it is a long drive off of I-40, so you're really back in the boonies. Second, look at the road in my picture -- I love a campground that does NOT have paved roadways; it just looks more appealing & outdoorsy. The sites seemed to be nicely spaced.The camp host drove by to say 'hi' soon after we arrived. We did not need to check in.The bath house was old but very well maintained and very clean. We were there on a Wednesday night in late April, so no noise. :)

Beautiful park. Facilities were well-maintained & clean. We stayed in the camper cabins on Pinoak Lake. We brought our kayaks & were able to launch right at the cabin. Campground was pretty crowded on the weekend--loud kids & dogs. If you prefer seclusion & quiet, it is very peaceful during the week.

Amazingly Beautiful place. We hiked the Red Leaves trail to the Pin Oak Backcountry Campground and it great, some places we lost the trail due to fallen trees but overall good. On the way back my friend twisted his ankle and Range Chole Wolf was quick to help. I'd say she alone earned this park 5 🌟

Beautiful! We got a standard cabin. No TV, and no cell service. It was so nice to unwind. I traveled with a kid so we brought a TV so she could watch movies if we got rained in. Definitely going to make a yearly vacation.

We stayed at Pin Oak, site 58. It is STUNNING! We did stay at the end of February, so things were not in bloom, but it was still worth the long drive from FL. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 2 nights. Was an awesome place to get away from life and enjoy a peaceful quit few days. However there was alot of red hornets hovering over our cabin. And many nest. I feel this needs to be addressed asap.

The campground and beach area were clean and we love that! The bridge seemed like it might need some work at the cub lake area. Some of the wood planks moved and squeaked a lot.

Boy Scout Troop 60 stayed here on our way to a high adventure camp in FL. The view of the lake from the campground is very nice, especially in the morning. Bugs are bearable if you're prepared. All in all, great campground; love it!

Great campground. Super clean and well maintained. Amazing Views and super friendly campers around. It is a little scary pulling a 35ft trailer through the narrow roads but we'll worth the experience. Great place to Boat, Fish, Walk, and have lake side fun.

A new bridge spans the northwestern arm of Cub Creek Lake. It was completed today, actually, according to a park ranger. The other bridge had some new boards. Deciduous trees are showing hints of warmer hues. The first week of November is usually when fall colors peak. Some interesting mushrooms and flowers line the trail. I found a geocache on the easternmost point of the Cub Creek Lake trail, though the log was a little moist.

We were only able to stay one night and a morning, but the lodge was comfortable, and the lake (the largest of four) was beautiful. My wife and I, our 23-year-old daughter, our two teenage sons, and our niece all went kayaking in two person rental kayaks, and we had a blast!

Stayed in cabin 7 by Cub Lake and it was perfect! Everything you need to cook your own food, heat worked very well (went in the winter), and reasonably priced. Many different lakes to fish. Scenic trails & many birds. Can’t wait to come back in the spring!

Stayed a long weekend at cabin number 13 at Cub Lake. My husband and I had our two small dogs with us, and we fit nicely. The bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was great! We had a lovely getaway hiking and enjoying nature.

Large state park, we camped early spring and it was very peaceful, site 27 in Pin Oak campground. We enjoyed riding our electric bikes on the forest service roads, gravel was in good shape easy riding and miles of exploring can be done

Lovely park and designated areas and trails for everyone. Horse trails and hiking trails are separate from 4 wheeler trails. Hunting is allowed in some areas. Very clean, well organized state forest. Camping, horse boarding, cabins, lovely lakes with boat rentals, lodge with restaurants and loads of events. Very dog friendly, just keep on a leash. Walked around Cub lake yesterday, so peaceful. Nice beach with swimming area. Beautiful picnic shelters and areas. Big enough for huge family or school reunions. The pictures don't do it justice.

Stood in the hotel. It was so beautiful there went for walks. The buffet was spectacular. They had a frog legs, just a beautiful place to be. The people were very nice.

What an absolute blast!!!! It was very clean, I love that each sitting area had shade! The bathrooms were really clean. It's fully fenced in so I felt safe that my kids couldn't take off. It's very affordable and worth the couple bucks! It is cash only! The two playgrounds outside of the park are really fun! My kids can't wait to come back to try out the pool next!

Cute park in a nice town! This was our 2nd visit while traveling through over the years and we love stopping at this park. When the weather is nice there are all kinds of things to entertain the kiddos!

This is a very nice nod to Paris France and the Effiel Tower. The Splash Park is amazing and the Disc Golf Course is a challenging course. Nicely done!

This is an incredible park with something for all ages! Playgrounds, pool, splash pad, pickle ball, hiking trail, and Disc Golf.

We love this spot in the summer but they also decorated for Christmas 🎅 🎄!! Such a cool spot…You definitely have to check it out wether it is summer or winter it is a fun spot & always clean.

I can't say enough good things about the town of Paris, TN. I was there a week for work and the town has the friendliest people on earth! I shopped downtown, ate local, stayed at the Hampton Inn (fabulous!!!), felt safe walking every day, and had a blast visiting the local sites like the Eiffel Tower Park. It has a Mommy & Me sections with mom/child swings, a water park, wonderful trails, and of course...it's own Eiffel Tower! I plan to take my family for a visit one day. In case you are headed that way be sure to take in the downtown square and side street shops, hug all the wonderful employees at the Hampton Inn for me, and ask the locals for dining recs.

I was very impressed with the park. Many things for people . Swings in the shade and a splash park and pools. One more location in Tennessee I have always wanted to go.

Awesome spot to stop for some play time or water play! There are two brand new parks as well as a splash pad (still Eiffel Tower themed), a pool with water slides, tennis courts, volleyball courts, restrooms, trails, picnic tables, and plenty of parking. The front parking lot that’s in front of the splash pad is rather small, but there’s overflow if you keep going straight back.

An amazing replica of the Eiffel tower, although it may not be quite as big. I’ve been telling all my friends that I’m finally taking my wife to Paris, and it didn’t disappoint. My wife and I have wanted to go to Paris ever since we got married, and now we finally made it, I’m so excited I can’t even stand it. Got our pictures taken in front of the Eiffel tower, it’s a must see.

Cute Park, playground with area for the littles and the older kids. Eiffel Tower is a small replica that lights up at night. Lots of parking with trails for walking/running. Summer months have swimming, splash pad, sports and more. Exercise equipment for adults who want a little extra on their morning walk/run.

Cute place I took my wife too for a day date over labor day weekend. Beautiful park with a water pad for kids. Only 2hr drive from Nashville.

Very quiet here as if nature itself knew lives were lost in this hilly wooded area.They have a nice path made leading down to the huge rock memorial. I couldn't walk all the way down due to mobility but I was able to see it from up top. There is a nice Gazebo that I made it to. The marker defines the area. It's free no tickets needed.

Excellently simple, reverent, and lovely place. It's easy to feel a connection to loss, old and new.

Very nice seems to be in some decay over the years wasn’t able to spend much time here I didn’t see any part of the plane as I would imagine it has been scavenged through the years

This site is very calming. Though I wasn't a fan of her. My father in law is. So we visiting for him taking plenty of photos then visited her museum in Nashville tennessee right after. Nice day trip in the Country.

I visited her site while riding a bicycle...very easy to find... Many people still leave her gifts. One could imagine the horror of this crash. Graphic telling of crash at site.

We were the only ones for awhile then tourists started arriving 😊. Not handicap accessible but I expected that. I walked down and took pics for others. Playing Patsy music while there, echoed thru the trees.

Nice memorial for 4 artists who are too soon. Unfortunately, somebody damaged the video kiosk at the site. Other than that it is well maintained.

A peaceful, serene, quiet place. It was nice to see all of the mementos fans have left — lots of lovely tributes. To get out to the memorial site, you’ll have to drive a couple of miles down a winding road. The memorial is out in the woods and requires a short walk downhill, but there’s a well-maintained gravel path at the site. Well worth a visit.

There is no closing time. Parking is not existent except on turnaround parking lot. Very retty in April, very serene. Zigzag walkway down to a memorial boulder with their names on it. There's a gazebo to sit in and enjoy the quiet.Very peaceful!

My wife loves country music and she loves Patsy Cline and the visit to this Park Memorial was absolutely amazing we even danced in the gazebo to Patsy Cline and no one else was there it was peaceful and well-kept I recommend anyone to at least drop by pay your respects and enjoy it

Very interesting to say the least... Worth the drive if you live close, or a huge fan of Patsy cline. Honestly it could have been kept a Lil better than that.

Somber place to visit knowing that 5 people lost their lives here. Gazebo present but no pictures of her and video station was vandalized. Still a must see to give them all thoughts and respects.

The memorial itself is great. Kiosk equipment is not in working order, but I have spoken to the Chamber of Commerce and they are working on getting it up and running again. They will call me when this is completed and I will be doing an interview with them. This memorial includes the others that were in the flight with Patsy which brings more personal meaning for me as my maiden name was Hawkins and I'm currently tracking genealogy records. "Hawkshaw" Hawkins may have been a distant cousin to me. I look forward to revisiting once the kiosk is working.

This place is great highly recommend! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the spot we rented 11 needs maintenance there's a large dip in the front next to road, when backing into the spot, it was so bad that the hitch of my camper bottomed out. And the road in front of the spot is so narrow making it difficult to back a camper in without going off the edge of the road where it drops off almost a foot. We enjoyed everything else the beach swim area was great and the office workers and park rangers where extremely nice! Will definitely be back many many times!

Beautiful place to camp. My battery to the car died, and super nice park rangers jumped me off for free. Thank you!

This Sate Park is beautiful. There are a lot of great hiking trails that lead to amazing views. Primitive campsites are great. Park Ranges and employees are friendly and helpful.

A quick and enjoyable afternoon visit. Packed a picnic lunch and took a few pix. Really enjoyed "meeting" Lefty, the screech owl, at the park office! Remember to pick up your State Park Passport, get outdoor, and enjoy!

Hiking trails are nice but limited. Seems like walking on a green carpet of moss. Very pretty. I didn't like the look of the shower area but after the hike I took one and the water was hot and the pressure was good so I was happy.

Camping locations are not cramped. You have room to move around. The park is clean and the staff is super friendly! The bathroom is clean but there is room for improvement.

Nice campsites, some very roomy, great water access and fishing!

The 8 mile hike is a little more than 8 miles and a good challenging hike. In certain areas the trail is moss-covered so it kind of looks like they've rolled out the green carpet.

We have 8 kids ...this place is amazing! Classes through the summer always hiking and swimming or fishing . This place is great . Always exceptional rangers. And the lady inside the office is very helpful!

Another great Tennessee State Park !We had the pleasure of spending three days camping. Park Ranger came by the campground with an owl on Friday night. They let us know if all the events that were taking place for the weekend. Lots of activities kayak, hiking,fishing, & archery. Nice playgrounds for the kids. The campground had great mostly level spots. Will say the bathhouse was clean but there is only one. If you are tent camping I recommend staying in spots 1-11. If not it is a little bit of a walk to the bathhouse. Beautiful area!

We had a church event at Mousetail Landing, and it was wonderful! We rented an enclosed pavilion. There were ceiling fans to keep everyone cool. There is plenty of space as well. We had a big dinner after church services. There was a nearby playground the kids could enjoy, and bathrooms were just a short walk from the pavilion. It is a beautiful state park and we had a great time. I highly recommend it!

First time here and we enjoyed our stay. It looks like they have put some money into it with new campsite tables, water hookups, and electrical boxes. We were at site 21 and the table, grill, and fire ring were all on the driver side of the camper. None of the RV sites are by the water, but it does not take long to get to it. Staff was friendly.

Camper RV sites are nice! Some are right off the road so if you have kids choose one off the road. Bathroom/showers are ok. Playgrounds are big hit for all age kids!Bring the leaf blower!

Beautiful place. Decent bathrooms. Very hilly. Great hiking. Fun for the kids, too.

Everyone at Loretta's Ranch displays the attitude that Loretta Lyn would be proud of!!! Chuck at the campground is amazing! The country store has the best Cinnomon rolls and sweetest people! The Museum staff is so accommodating and kind. They have the best stories! We love coming up here! Not impressed with Amy at the office.

Loretta Lynn's Ranch does an amazing job with special events. They have motocross races, various horse events, jeep events, and Harley Davidson event, and many more. They handle large events and crowds beautifully. The staff is absolutely the best and usually a Loretta relative. She would be so proud of how they keep alive her legacy.

My wife & I visited here last Friday as an early Father's Day gift for me! We'd been wanting to go here for awhile & we loved our visit there on Friday! We took the tour of the cabin, mansion & the museum & loved all of them! Our tour guide was great & he gave us all of the info that we needed & he took the time to answer any questions that we had, thanks! All in all we had an enjoyable day there & we'd go back again!

Absolutely smashing! This place is magical. A vibe of eastern Kentucky in Western Tennessee! Fabulous grounds. RV Park is AMAZING... peaceful beautiful sunsets ... lorettas museum is jaw dropping. My dream of singing in her house happened today. Amazing... will be a regular stop for us.

Loretta Lynn's Ranch was amazing!!! Absolutely loved the environment and the staff was all so nice. The tour was a blast and greatly enjoyed. Loved the cabin, was a little disappointed on how the Wi-Fi is done but over all, I wasn't ready to leave the ranch and plan to visit again next year. The peace and quiet along with its beauty was exactly what my little family needed.

This is a beautiful place to go. My sister and I spent weekend there in one of the cabins and had a wonderful time. Going to be going and taking my best friend. Loved the tours. Loretta was the best

Beautiful campground, with lots to do! The creek was clean and beautiful. If you go to the western town, there is plenty of gift shops, guided tours and sights to behold. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic place to camp!

I was actually disappointed. The grounds were not kept up. Grass was very long, especially by her replica house. The entire ranch just looked run down and not managed. Even her house looked run down from what I could see from the road. I did not take the tour, so I didn't get that close to the house. The waterfall by the stream had no water flowing down. Maybe that had to do with rainfall, I don't know. I just expected a more pristine property.

Well we reserved a cabin, was looking so forward to staying. 3 of us in Feb. It was cold got there went to the cabin A C was on bed in loft had a dead bug on it. Cold as heck besides this a mouse was living in it. So we left and were not even there ling enough to take a over night bag in and first they weren't going to refund us. Ut I told them call the manager I'm not staying with bugs and mice. They gave us 75% back what a rip offThought we should have gotten all of it back. In the room 3 minutes. No other cabins rented out either. So we took the 75% and drive to Fort Campbell and got a very nice room for 96.00. At a nice hotel. Dont pay for cabin in semi spring months to you check the cabins out before you pay

The Ranch was absolutely beautiful. I felt so connected to her while there. The tour and tour guide was awesome. The campground is beautiful and peaceful though some of the spots are difficult to get in and out of for a 40 ft camper.

Have never been into any of the museums but have camped and attended several Jeep events over the last several years. The staff, treat you as family and want to make your stay there as pleasant as possible.

Went to see the Ranch and I was very disappointed in the appearance of the property. The mansion was beautiful and wellkept but the rest of the property needs some serious maintenance and landscaping done. Service was great otherwise.

Yeah, the museum is really cool with tons and tons of artifacts. It's very nice to see all those things. When you consider that at the national dirt bike event, all cell signals are blocked and you are forced to pay for it for the weekend, and even when you pay to tour the museum they won't give you a Wi-Fi password.. that's pretty freaking lame.

This is a 4 star review as the place is incredibly nice. about 7 miles from I40 so its very quiet. Roomy spots and a beautiful setting. However, there are 2 draw backs. First, it is a first come first serve even though you have a reservation. So I can see where if you have a large rig or something with large slides finding the right spot may be difficult. We have a 27 ft camper and could have fit in any of them. We got in after hours and just picked a spot. A few minutes later a very nice employee came up to us and got us checked in. So if you have restrictions, then call ahead minutes before you get there if you can. Just a weird way to do it and seems to me pretty disorganized. The other thing was LOUD music. There was a party going on down at the lower level and nothing was done to stop the god awful noise. So i wouldn't recommend coming on the weekends. But it is beautiful and peaceful otherwise!

Visited for the first TN Fall Jam. The trails were enjoyable tho wished for some more challenging trails for the visit, still was nice to be able to stretch our legs” (Jeep legs) and enjoy the scenery and ride. So far as the moderate trails go, I’d definitely expect body damage (bedsides) on Gladiator models. They get super tight in some places. I had. I trouble at all on the moderate trails in a TJ on 33s with a locker/LSD combo. While enjoyable, I’m not sure I’d return for moderate only rides, and given the trail traffic I experienced the first day I’d be hesitant to attend for TN trail jam in the heat of summer but I also understand that it’s more so a social event than an off-road park, so if that’s your thing by all means attend and enjoy. I will say it was well organized and it’s clear those running the event had the safety and enjoyment of the participants in mind.

We did not stay in the cabins..But the location is easy to find..Staff at the gift shops and tours were outstanding..This was on my bucket list and I will say it was the most amazing trip...If you ever get the chance to go do both tours the houses and the museum and definitely check out the gift shops. Thank you all for being such friendly people

Loved visiting the ranch today! It was a great experience. Just walking through the house was so special. Gracie was our tour guide and she was awesome. My two sisters and I just loved everything and took so many pictures. We had lunch in the little store before the ranch and it was delicious, the people were so nice. Thank you! Big fans!

Loved seeing and experiencing her home. We spent about 3 hours there. We did not utilize accommodations there but I am sure we would have loved it as much as we loved seeing her ranch and museum

I flew in to Nashville from Florida for my birthday and my wish was to visit Loretta Lynn’s Ranch we drive 1 hour and 1/2 and got there at 4:04 which is 4 minutes past the last group and Miss biLinda the worker in the store said we were too late and we could not get in she didn’t care we came from another state, my birthday nothing then we went to take a pic in front of the home and she said it wasn’t fair for the paying group that we didn’t pay when she had actually told us no! Loretta Lynn would never put up with that kind of rudeness she was a very compassionate and loving woman and I’m very sure she would have not said no

This is definitely not something you want to miss. Absolutely beautiful, serene, peaceful and felt like walking into ‘home’ the history and the story of a truly rags to riches coal miners daughter showcased. We didn’t get to stay but the tour guide ‘Gracie’ was so accommodating.

Wine was very good and the people were friendly. Only draw back was it's not as scenic as some wineries in the area.

I have been drinking Grinder's Switch Wines for several years now, and I must admit they are my favorites. At times it was necessary to make a trip to the actual winery...this being such a pleasant experience I stopped going to the liquor store for my wines.The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. (They are even great at making me believe they remember me)This is an experience I would recommend not missing!

Great winery. Wines are good (some really good). They will let you sample all the wines and they are very friendly. They have outdoor seating and have music and food at times through the year.

Absolutely wonderful. The dry red wines were unique and well crafted. We spent a peaceful afternoon there eating lunch and drinking a fine wine. We bought crackers and cheese there. What more does one really need? The lovely young lady working there was so kind and helpful too

Alena was absolutely wonderful in helping us pic out wine for our wedding. Gave us the VIP experience and never rushed us at all. She very well explained the wines and flavors and it was overall and amazing day!

Went to Amber Falls in Opry Mills yesterday and it was fantastic!! The store was super clean -- and amazing to check out all the wine selections. Everyone was hospitable and knowledgeable about the product. I tasted their signature Cab Sauv and it was very pleasant. I would give them a shot or go visit their vineyard. Gabe, Margarette, and everyone there were so nice and welcoming and I would suggest you go check them out right there inside the Opry Mills mall.

Lovely location. Wide variety of wines and friendly staff. Blackberry tea wine cooler is amazing. Check out their new location at Cool Springs Mall as well. Highly recommend.

Participated in the Amber Falls 5k. The 5k was okay but the location was not ready for the amount of people that came. They had no food options and the tasting room was too small for the number of people there.

This is a great venue for the Jesus in a Bar, Songwriter's Festival, 9.2.23. So much talent in one place for one day. Very reasonable, $35 (or $100 for a car full) cover charge for 12 hours of gifted performances. Country, rap, pop, rock. Something for everyone. Nothing extreme. Great acoustics outside. Steady breezes made the warm day comfortable. Songwriter/performers come from all parts of the country. Chick-fil-A, Just Love, and a sweet treat food truck covering lunch and dinner. Johnny Cash would be proud.

You will have a guided walk through the house and to the barn housing the One Piece at a Time Cadillac. The stories are well worth the price of admission.

Fantastic place. A must visit. Staff were so super friendly. Got to meet Johnny cash's nephew and see the one piece at a time car which was amazing. Pup friendly. My dog and I stayed as part of the harvest hosts program. Super quiet at night as it's a gated property. And def hit the gift shop and purchased a few t-shirts 👍👍 two thumbs up and 5 stars from me. If anyone plans to visit Nashville TN, this destination HAS to be on your to see list. The museum has many hands on things to see and interact with. Johnny Cash’s family entertain at different times and are some of the best entertainers I’ve ever met ... and personable!!!The owners, the Oxley’s, are by far some of the kindest, most amazing people I’ve been met. They both have a love in them that just flows; and they glow outwardly because of it. I’m in awe of them!!!This will be one of the most memorable places you have ever visited!!! You will make friends and memories that will last a lifetime!

We came to this beautiful and unique place for a wedding and we’re able to walk the grounds and see where Johnny Cash and his family spent their leisure time. My favorite was the “One Piece at a Time” Cadillac and the story behind it. The owners were gracious and kind. If you’re a Johnny Cash fan you should make the trek to see all that the hideaway has to offer!

The best decision we made, was going to the storytellers museum, and farm. The nephew of Johnny Cash was our tour guide! Mark! You are amazing! He sang to us, told stories, and I got to soak up all of the things about the man in black. Just when I thought my day couldn’t get any better we headed down to the farm, Johnny cash’s private escape he owned. Where we spent the afternoon visiting with Sally, and Brian. What we thought would be a 2-3 tour turned into a 5 hour walk back in time, stories, and me leaving with a deeper understanding the roots of the Cash family!If you are in Nashville, this is a MUST do! For anyone!

THE BEST EXPERIENCE!My husband and I brought our 17 yr old daughter and 20 yr old son to the Storyteller’s Farm (our son is a MASSIVE Johnny Cash fan). In short, we came away completely impressed by the property, the memorabilia, and the stories! It truly feels like you’re stepping into grandma and grandpa’s house - authentic, unpretentious, super cozy, but oozing with the spirit of Johnny, June, and their families! It actually feels like you’re just waiting for them to show up from being out of town - it’s nearly indescribable!The owners of the property were out of town, but their friends, Patsy and Rodney, welcomed us in their stead and were incredibly hospitable! I’m telling you, it felt like we were visiting old friends - they were so warm, welcoming, and kind! We were given a generous tour with ample time in the home, the garage, and on the property!My favorite experience was our time with Mark (Mark Alan Cash is Johnny’s nephew). He spoiled us with family stories, personal reflections, and a private concert that not only honored his uncle, but also showcased his own music (my personal request)! Our family was incredibly touched by his transparency, sincere love of family, and approachable demeanor. I can’t say enough good things about him, but I highly recommend buying his CD/t-shirt and paying for ticket if he’s ever singin’ in your town!I wish more people knew about this little slice of heaven Johnny called, “the center of my universe!” It is a gorgeous piece of property with magical landscapes that could mesmerize the most cynical person. No matter how you feel about country music or Johnny Cash, you’ll walk away from this experience humbled and grateful - we sure did!

We loved our visit to Storytellers and Hideaway Farm. By far this was my favorite thing we did while in the Nashville area. It made my trip. If you are in the area you have to check it out. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Mark Cash (Johnnys nephew)sang to us talked with us and told us stories. Such a great experience.

Overall great stay! Beautiful views from the lobby and our room. All staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a gift shop, restaurant and bar all on the floor with the lobby, restaurant was quite busy so I would suggest going more towards 5pm when they first open for dinner, food and service was great tho.The only down side for me was the bed, the sheets were very scratchy and the pillows and beds weren’t too comfortable. The rest of the room was wonderful tho.

Did the 10.5 mile trail. Very peaceful trail. I recommend downloading offline map because there were couple times I had to take my map out since some part of the trail is hard to distinguish from random path.I recommend doing the yellow trail if you’re here for the Lake Woodhaven dam.

Great Park on Lake Woodhaven. It is a fully wooded campground inside the larger park. There are ballfields, playgrounds, boat launches, fishing, and a restaurant (which was closed during our visit). Roads are OK, sites are on level gravel and there is a creek nearby. Laundry has 2 washers, 2 dryers and requires downloading an app that we didn't get to work so we skipped it.

One of the best parks we’ve been to-Well staffed, thoughtfully maintained and planned trails and facilities.The park is stunningly beautiful. Our 10.4 mile hike was topped off by the best views of all when we took a side trial and “blue blazed” it to the Spillway.When it comes to this adventurous destination, my best advice is to “Climb every mountain-Ford every stream”… You’ll be glad you did.😊

Awesome park with great hiking trails, mountain bike trails, a nice campground, hotel, restaurant with killer outdoor patio and a golf course. All within a 40ish minute drive to Nashville.We're staying at the campground and like it overall. It's older and, from what I hear, will be receiving some much needed upgrades over the next few years. We will definitely be coming back though. There's plenty to do and see and it's super family friendly. All the campground host have been super friendly. The bathhouse, near campsite 1, is definitely older but still decently clean, has plenty of hot water and overall serves it's purpose.Between the hiking, abundant creeks to cool off in on hot summer days, the lakes in the park, and other amenities, it's definitely worth checking out and has move up to one of our top favorite state parks/campgrounds to visit that's close to home, we're from Nashville.

This is a beautiful park! Nice hiking trails and historical stuff to look at. The fall colors were great and the hotel bar was very nice!. Great place to bring your dogs just watch for armadillos, they were everywhere!

I have always loved going to Montgomery Bell. It's always very peaceful and so much to walk around and explore. So much gorgeous wildlife to see.

Montgomerey Belle State Park is a wonderful place for a walk through the woods. There are a few different trails to choose from. There's even one near the visitor center that is less than 3/4 of a mile long (just in case you want a SHORT walk).A wild bird sanctuary for several that are recuperating injuries and some that can't be released again. There are plants nearby that were planted specifically to attract pollinators such as bees.We found at least ten to fifteen different types of mushrooms. Our visit was during the hottest part of the day, so we didn't see too many animals. I suggest a visit first thing in the morning if that's what you want. They DO have some gorgeous deer and wild turkey in the area.I suggest looking up the historical significance of the area with the Civilian Conservation Corp and the Army Corp of Engineers.There is an old stone church that is open to viewing. They even still have small weddings and services there. It is also historically significant. I can't do justice to what is on their website for info.There is a golf course resort. There is a restaurant with a nice little menu. They have special selections for holidays such as Valentines dinner. If you consume adult beverages, you might want to try one of several different options for flights.There is a little swimming area (be careful as there isn't normally a lifeguard when I've been there). The swimming area is a sand bottom area and is roped separately from the canoe / kayak rental area. You ARE allowed to bring your own, or just rent theirs.There are a couple of little lakes that are great to view the beaver and turtles or even watch deer coming for a quiet drink. No motors are allowed on the boats, so it's exquisitely quiet!There is a camping area for tents and RV's. There's a primitive group camp. There are even cabins or a hotel to stay at.Make sure to visit with the rangers at check in so they can tell you about the activities that are scheduled (that you may be interested in).Enjoy yourself and keep it clean!

This is the first Tennessee state park I have been in, and it was a great experience. The park rangers and employees are very helpful. I hope I'm able to go this way again. Spring wildflowers are lovely.

Camped there for 3 days. Very nice campground. Nice river to stroll by. Guest Services were very helpful and friendly.

Great little spot to camp. Has water and electricity at pretty all sites. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.Only down side is that the bathrooms need some serious cleaning. They look like they are in good shape just not regularly cleaned by the park staff.

This place is gorgeous! My family and I enjoyed it so much. We made it a weekend trip to see it and still didn't cover the whole park. I would definitely suggest scrubbing the concrete steps off every once in a while at the beach swimming area, though, as I watched a lot of people slip and fall from the moss/algae buildup🤦‍♀️😄😅

Beautiful park with a spillway that is just gorgeous! Awesome walking trails, found some little gems along the way. Rocks with quartz and druze. My nephew was so excited! Bathrooms are clean and close to trails.

We had a Great hike: 6 1/2 miles. The trail and terrain were easy, well marked and even maps were posted 2 to 3 times. Plenty of benches to sit and view the 2 lakes. Saw plenty of Deer, Bullfrogs and Blue Heron. We ate at the Lodge: had fried catfish and pulled pork, delicious 😋 Our server: Shelby was very attentive and polite. This is our 3rd visit. We have tent camped and also stayed in the Villas in the past and will be back again. Thanks so much.

Beautiful park and well maintained trails.I did the MB trail. It’s well maintained and marked.Thank for rangers keeping the park neat and clean. The park office is cute.Recommend for everyone who is looking for an easy daily hike. If you decide to backpack overnight, go to the wildcat shelter. It features a creek.

My husband and I stayed at the lodge for four nights, and we absolutely loved it. The room and bathroom were really nice and clean, the whole place was! We enjoyed the golf course, there were two deer on the fairway right behind us as we were on the first green - it was so cool being so close and they didn't seem bothered at all!! We saw deer multiple times while we were playing. I saw a beaver in person for the first time ever, he was right next to the bridge that connects the lodge to the boat rental area. He was down there chomping away! We fished too, didn't catch anything, but we still had fun - are there fish in these lakes? We rented a Jon boat with a trolling motor, and that gave great views of the lodge from the lake. We hiked a bunch and had lunch down by the creek on one of our outings. It's so peaceful there, and everyone we encountered was super friendly. We had dinner at the lodge a couple of nights, and everything we had was great. I was really looking forward to some great catfish on our trip, and let me tell you, the lodge absolutely nailed it!! It was so good and crispy, and they served me 3 huge pieces! We tried another catfish place in the area prior, and while it was okay, it just didn't compare to the lodge. Overall we had a great time, and look forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful and bountiful State Park and a joy to explore for the first time. We look forward to getting back there again soon!

Great park just 40 minutes away from Nashville with a beautiful lodge and lots of trails and nature! Loved loved spending our weekend here. There are lot of kid friendly activities and trails!

Awesome park. Fun bike trail for all levels. Really cool bike maintenance station. Lots of activities for the family. Be careful of drivers they tend to go fast. Great location for hiking and riding bikes. Look for a new park to explore this might be a great option. Don’t forget to bring the helmet!!

We were camping at David Crockett State Park and I drove over to ride the trails. What a Gem!!! A very nice park with pavilions and picnic tables, lots of green area. The single track is superb! A bit of everything from cruising long the river, then steep sections, then back down again. Smooth tread, rocks, roots, boulders, man-made drop-offs with by-passes. It's a blast! The Columbia Cycling Club did a great job in laying out this much trail on limited land. There is a pump/skills track up the road beyond the trailhead, so don't load up your bike (like I did) until you give that a shot as well. Nice to see what can be accomplished when clubs and local govt/agencies work together.

We go here for the RC track. It could use a little more work to it but over all it's pretty good! Always clean. My only real concern is the parking situation for the rc park. Other than that, it's a really nice park.

We really Enjoy hiking or biking on sunny mornings. Be aware of bikes coming by fast. Fun place with lots to do. Shelters and bathrooms available. They offer an obstacle course for bikers that is really fun for beginners. Area for Miniature Planes and cars. The water is great to enjoy during summer months to cool off after a long bike ride. Pretty extreme but awesome. Well maintained.

This is a great park to visit, they have bike trails and hiking trails, and a rc car race track. I love taking my dogs here for a hike!!! Its right on the duck river and some creeks always a beautiful sight on the trails.

We attend Girl Scout day camp here every summer. This year I noticed a lot of changes and upgrades to the cabin and the trails. Thanks for giving this park more attention. We love it!

Love riding here and some of the off-camber trails with drop offs are quite sketchy. Not for the faint of heart. And mostly good sweeping rides with some rock gardens and enough obstacles to make it interesting.

Great trails for biking or hiking. Lovely trails along the river. Beautiful area. No restrooms or playground at some of the parking areas/trailheads. Trails stay very wet and muddy after rain.

Great Park to hike, bike, kayak and even do RC car racing. With Columbia growing and getting developed so fast, I think this park will become the "happening spot" or the "go to" place for families to relax and exercise. Maury county is great for business and for family! Can't wait to see what future brings!

Awesome place to hike! And even better for MTB! There is a small "pump track" area with parking and a bathroom, and then trails all around the park. Some BIG obstacles with areas to go around if needed. Kids park, RC track, RC airfield and boat ramp for Duck River.

Cool place for a hike or a bike ride. Plenty of forks in the road, and if you're a biker there's plenty of options from the beginner to the expert. There's beautiful rivers, streams, and lakes that I'm sure will be even more beautiful in the warmer months. Great for families, dog friendly too. Boating available, has an RC park too. Trail goes on for miles. If you want to go for a walk or hike, head on out!

Nicely done museum house with a focus on President James K. Polk. The museum has a very good collection of artifacts. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging.It's worth noting that Polk only lived a portion of his life in this house - with the demolition of the Polk House in Nashville, this became the primary place to serve as a museum to Polk in the area.

Beautiful home of our 11th President James K. Polk. This is his only remaining residence other than The White House. His home where he lived after his presidency in downtown Nashville was torn down. Not sure why Nashville would tear down a presidential home! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the home, the history of the time, the President and his family. The tour included the home, the grounds and the kitchen. They also have a video about JKP and a small gift shop. It was not busy, but there was a steady flow of people. Highly recommend a visit to Columbia, TN and this historical hidden gem.

Nice tour of a home President Polk lived in. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful on the tour. Not a large house however and the grounds are small.

Visited today with my son and we loved it! Very friendly staff, nice gift shop, and interesting things on exhibit. Benjamin served as a great guide and we will be back again bringing our other family members.

The tour left a little to be desired. The small museum inside the gift shop provided a lot of information and I was glad the staff mentioned the contributions of the enslaved people who helped the family. This was also covered in the museum displays. Your was pretty kid friendly, they had a little scavenger hunt for kids to participate in.

This is the home of our 11th President. It is one of the more authentic historic locations from this time period as most of the items are not reproductions due to the family passing them directly to the historic association.I have taken the tour four times now over a ten year span. Every single tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and seems to have a passion for James Polk.On this trip, our guide went above and beyond by answering questions and even staying a little past closing to make sure we saw everything.Very highly recommend (even if you aren’t a Polk fan) just for the historic value.

One of best historical tours we have ever done, largely due to our tour guide, Phyllis! She was congenial and extremely knowledgeable! We started with a 10 minute video, then reviewed an adjacent room of several exhibits before the personal tour hosted by Phyllis throughout the home. Highly recommend this to anyone with a love of history. James & Sarah Polk deserve much more notoriety!

Small site and museum - but our tour guide was incredibly educated and fielded all sorts of questions. Sites like this show the modern importance of the National Archives, and for a relatively obscure President, it was enlightening to see what would be a fairly simple home that he grew up in. Many of the surviving artifacts from the time there are full of history.

I never knew much about this president, but I do now. It's a small property and only costs $12 for adults. Pretty original homes and garden. Columbia is one of the smaller towns that hasn't torn down a lot of historic homes so it's pretty as well. Our tour guide seemed very knowledgeable.

We go here a lot and find all kinds of cool stuff to buy. We've bought stuff from purses, backpacks, metal home made signs, clothes and etc. The owner and employees are always very nice and willing to help with what ever they can and the price are affordable. I recommend visiting here if u want to find some cool stuff.

This is the first place my daughter took us when we came for a visit. What a great place where small local vendors can come together to make a huge shopping experience. Lots of talent at affordable prices. We bought several small items that were super unique. We loved that we could shop freely on our own. There’s a nice little coffee shop and a place with food. The music and ambiance was so wonderful we danced down the aisles as we browsed (if you were monitoring the surveillance cameras I’m sorry if it looked like I was having a seizure. I didn’t mean to scare you, I’m just a really bad dancer :) ). We will definitely be back on our next visit.

This is one of my favorite happy places! It’s a fun place to come and support local small businesses whether it’s antique finds (we’ve found lots of great pieces for our home here for great prices!), homemade items, or curated gifts. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. The cafe has DELISH food. So good. And the coffee is always so good too. Getting to walk around and shop in a pretty place with a yummy coffee in hand just makes for a really enjoyable time!

Called the police on my daughter. She did nothing. Just had a water bottle. Do not go to this place. They profile. She spent $80 in the store. Nothing but overpriced junk in the store. - i see their response. They know they are wrong. They did not have our names- the police didnt ask for them or check our bags. The police knew we didnt do it. They continue to harrass us. We did not steal. Why would we give our names if we stole? They didnt have them. I stand by my review. This business is completely lacking in common sense and character. Still no apology. Why would we be stealing at checkout counter with police standing there. Please i urge customers not go there. They are horrible people trying to intimidate us. Of course we picked up items and showed the other. That is shopping. I had a small bag and no pockets. This became not a police issue when the officer said to us i didnt think you did it. The officers were welcome to look at our bags or pat is down. This place is absolutely adorable and perfect for spending a whole afternoon. Whatever you're searching for, whether it's earrings, home decor, a gift for a baby, your girlfriend, or even just a little something for yourself, this place has got it all. With a range of vendor booths, you'll feel great about supporting local businesses. Plus, the way they set up their booths gives me some fantastic decorating ideas. I'm not from here, but my sister is, and I'm so grateful she told me about Miss Lucille's. It's definitely on my to-do list for my next visit.

I visited Miss Lucille’s last month. I bought a small pumpkin that was $6.00,and a candle, and a Cork Purse. I put my 3 items on the counter to check out. I had the handbag with the price tag so cashier could see. Well I was charged $16.00 for my small pumpkin, and $11.95 for my candle. The total was $28.85. My sister in law was getting a coffee and I ask her to look at my receipt. I was overcharged $10.00 for the pumpkin and not charged for the Cork Handbag. I was so upset that I would have walked out without paying for the handbag. I went back to cashier to tell her, I wasn’t charged for the handbag. The handbag was $159.87! I didn’t think to tell her about the over charging of the pumpkin as I was upset that I would be arrested for stealing the handbag. I called to talk to a manager but the young girl on the phone said she could help me. I told her what happen and she took my phone number and said she would look into it and call me back. Well I have never gotten called back. I was upset that I was overcharged ten dollars for the pumpkin and I could have taken a very expensive purse without paying and no one calls to correct this mistake. I am not sure if I will go back there again.

It’s not an antique store. If you want to support what looks like a collection of smaller businesses then it’s great for that! But I’d say less than 1/4 of this big warehouse are genuine antiques. Looks like a lot of pop-up shops, some mass-produced tchotchkes, some little shops of handmade items. Don’t get me wrong, I love supporting small businesses and some of the handmade things are very interesting but it’s essentially a giant overpriced gift shop with a sprinkling of antiques.

Meh as a collector of vintage advertising I was let down. Mostly repops or brands no one cares about. Mostly Knick knacks, seasonal stuff, clothes and DIY soaps.

I love Miss Lucille's! There is a mix of antique/vintage, handmade, furniture/home decor, clothing/accessory, and gift booths, and everything in between. I enjoy visiting and finding fun unique items for gifts and for my home. I love the sweet little Cafe as well. Booths are refreshed regularly, so I try to visit often. Miss Lucille's is a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

I’ve been meaning to come here for nearly a year now- and I’m so glad I finally did. I was surprised at the sheer size of the place and the number of various vendor stalls there were. There weren’t only antiques, which I love, but also vendors who carried clothing, home decor, perishable good like KY sourced Amish honeys and jams, and some holiday home items. I’ll def be returning to stroll around, whether on my own or with others. Some of the sellers have more reasonably priced goods than others depending on what you’re looking for. It’s a great way to support local retailers, artists and sellers

I take my daughter here every Saturday morning after breakfast at Starbucks and the staff always makes her and I feel at home. The ladies up front always have warm smiles and make the little one laugh.What’s nice about this place is that it’s a large, open and organized collection of small independently owned business’. From crafts to hand made clothes and scarves, furniture, soaps, lotions, antiques, dolls, art etc! It’s a collaboration of a little bit of everything. The owner Trent is a fantastic host and even gave my daughter and I a sneak peak of the new indoor attraction that’s being built just behind the store. Go-carts, putt putt golf, laser tag, rock climbing, a restaurant, birthday center, bowling. It’s going to be great!!

Tons of cute stuff but I left empty-handed because the prices were EXTREME! I remember that farmhouse tray was like $60+ or something. I think I'll just stick to my usual places for decor but it's a really fun place to just window-shop and they also have a cafe inside right when you enter the door.

I love this place. The staff are always friendly and there are so many booths to look through. You’re bound to find something for everyone. The cafe is great, too. We have since moved to another state, but I sure do miss and love Miss Lucille’s Marketplace.

My daughter wanted to zip line. My first time zip lining. We had lots of fun. Great guides!

It was my first time ever going zip lining. Me and my husband decided to go on the night adventure in Kingston Springs. Let me take a minute to brag on the amazing crew we had the pleasure of spending the time with. Tyler, Lexie and Joe were funny, great attitudes, fun, helpful and we truly enjoyed the time with them. We highly recommend going to adventure works and asking for these three. You won't regret it. We will be goin to their other locations asap.

Our kids had an awesome time ziplining as part of a birthday party! The ziplines were fast & fun! Brian was fantastic with the kids keeping things upbeat & fun! I felt confident that all safety procedures were followed and prioritized. The park is perfectly tucked back from the road giving you a true nature experience. We will definitely be back!

We had such a great time! Trey and Jonas are friendly, super professional, and wildly patient haha.

We had a great time zipping thru the trees. IT is shady and lovely. The zip lines are pretty cool...not the highest or fastest I've ever been on, but for only $60 you get almost 2 hours of zipping. The guides were great and very helpful. It was completely safe.

Went full moon zip lining here and had a blast. Only ten zip lines, but the cool factor was that it’s at night, they do a tandem run, there are glow sticks involved, and the people running it are really laid back. We had a great time!!!

You can't go wrong with Adventureworks. The whole experience was incredible. Mike was an amazingly fun (and funny) guide. My whole family - 6'5" me, my scared-of-heights-wife, and my two kids (5 1/2 and almost 8) - were blown away by our adventure in the trees. You're sure to leave happy and with great memories!

We did the Moonlight Zip lining and it was so much fun, our instructors/guides (Mary & Colin) were great fun, very experienced, were very organized and kept things moving. They even had glow sticks for everyone so we could see each other in the dark... Was such a laugh, the whole experience.... My only recommendations would be to take a small flashlight, use the bathroom at the gas station in town before you get there (bathrooms have no power or running water) as super creepy in the dark!! And tip your guides at the end, they deserve it, and have a great time.

My Husband & I were there on 6/26 and We absolutely loved it!!! Thank you so much, Kyla & Drew, for being our Guides. You are both amazing & definitely a big part of our decision to visit again!! You Were both so attentive and kept us safe(Hopefully I will get better in my landings )😊

This is a great little gem tucked into Franklin. It’s a rather simple tour, but the tour guide (Sheila) made the specific battle story come alive. She knew her history, explained it with clarity, connected with her group, and made it a memorable experience.I would suggest going here first before stopping at the Carnton Plantation.

Mike did a great job on our tour and brought the Battle of Franklin to life for us!

Wonderful! We visited the Lotz House across the street and decided to come here too!The guide was wonderful and informative. We have purchased tickets to the other Battle of Franklin Homes as well.

The tour itself was cool, but our tour guide made the experience! She reached in and gave you such a heartfelt experience, not just a tour. Believe me when I say Kristie was the perfect person to show us the emotion behind it all! I will never look at the war the same. She showed us through their eyes! Thank You for loving what you do and the people you talk about!

The tour was $20 and incredibly informative (it started at 2:15pm and took at least an hour), lots of dates, names and details. Great tour guide who really cares about accuracy over embellishment, much appreciated!As posted, pictures were not allowed inside the Carter House but we took several photos of the grounds and exteriors of buildings.The home is going to have some paint work done in the near future to more closely match colors of that timeline. Walking in the basem*nt was neat, they had chairs lined up around the perimeter for each person that had been documented as taking shelter there (including the Lotz family from across the street), so that was a heck of a visual.

We stopped in Franklin and saw the battle ground at Carter House, an amazing part of our American History. We stopped in town and look at some buildings too. So much to see and not enough time, be sure to visit St. Paul's in downtown.

Our Guide Randy was very personable and really could convey the events with the gift of storytelling. The fact so much of the Carter family's personal belongings were still there was amazing.

An interesting immersion of what it would have been like to be present during the battle at the house during the war. Wonderful house and a great lawn to walk and see depiction of what was happening before and during the battle.

Nice house and out buildings. Guide focused on distorted facts and personal opinion rather than actual historical facts. No chairs or benches in basem*nt area.

The grounds are filled with history you won't see anywhere else. Our tour guide was Randy. He made the events of November 30th come alive and shared how the history of this battle affected more modern history. I highly recommend a visit to Carter House.

A beautiful historic house on a very tragic piece of land. Caught between the Union and Confederates fighting for Franklin. You can still see the bullet holes and the cannon ball that struck the house and the work office. Very haunting. The tour was very good and I enjoyed it. Downfall is you're not allowed to take pictures inside the house.

Bill is a fabulous tour guide. This was interesting and just the right amount of time. Summer is a great time to come to avoid school field trips. We did the 930AM tour as they opened and it was perfect to beat the July heat!

Cool to see, but they tell a revisionist version of the history that includes some pretty funny outright lies. As an example they’ll tell you there were no black confederate soldiers, despite pictures of and monuments to them existing. Soon they’ll probably start telling people the burning of Atlanta was a myth too. If you have to choose go to Elm Springs in Columbia, a short drive south from there

We visited the Lotz House this week during the Christmas/New Year Break. Our tour guide was Thomas and he was fantastic. Trust me, this tour is worth it and if you’re lucky enough to get Thomas as your guide, you will have a great, educational and entertaining visit.

Definitely different than any other guided tour we've taken. Chuck was great, he made it fun for everyone. He was engaged with his audience and made it personable for all, we were in a larger crowd too-5 or 6 different parties, around 12 to 15 people total. Very impressed.

Great tour for the history buffs and those that enjoy viewing historic buildings! Tour guide was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the surrounding civil war battles (could point out where your state's regiments were off the top of his head) and what happened to the family living in the house. Beautiful period furniture and wallpapers make you feel as if you stepped back in time.

Such a beautiful history rich home. Our tour guide, Chuck, made the experience even better - answering all our questions about the house and the battle of Franklin.

Truly awesome tour! I've taken both the Ghost Tour and the regular day time tour. The Ghost Tour is on Saturday nights after normal hours. For this you need to get your tickets in advance but it is worth it! Our guide Kelly was very knowledgeable about the Ghost that occupy the home. She shared stories, photos, video and recording of paranormal events. A couple of weeks later I went back for the history tour which is during the day. Our guide Chuck was so good and had so much knowledge and history to share. I learned so much about the Lotz family from the tour,if you're in the Franklin/Nashville area you should try to take the time for the tour you will be grateful you did

We did the haunted tour. Was pretty amazing. Some of us on the tour even smelled cigar smoke! Our guide/host was the best!

3 stars because We got stuck with Kelly. The history of the Lotz house and the house itself was great. Our experience not so much. From the beginning with just paying for our tickets she was smiley and bubbling but also passive aggressive in her tone and wording. We saw one price oone but she was telling us a different price. We had our children with us who are big into history and do so well at these types of events. We visit a lot of houses/museums and never had an issue. They asked her a few questions. It seemed to have been a bother to her. She was so passive aggressive it was almost unbearable. Even other adults on the tour couldn’t believe how she responded.She told other people in the tour not to touch or lean on anything even against a solid wall (which we get) but yet she leaned on wall after wall as she talked. As an adult I asked her a question which I turn she gave a very passive aggressive and stupid answer to a question I didn’t ask. Had she listened and heard what I was asking, there would have been no need for her comments. If it was not for the “all sales final, we would have asked for a refund and left.”She also kept putting her hands on my kids and touching them. So weird for never having met them.We overheard the other tour going on and that gentleman was fantastic. He also chatted with us before and after and was so great!If you go, I would ask for the make tour guide. Especially if you have children.

The gift shop person and the 2 guides we met were very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our tour and really appreciated all the beautiful antiques. The Lotz family history was interesting to hear.

Our tour guide was not only very informative, but also made it fun. There was a lot of very cool stories and artifacts there.

We visited the Lotz House on 3-17-24. Our tour guide was Kelly. She was awesome. Both my grandkids, 11 and 8 loved it. Kelly answered their questions and told stories that they could understand. My granddaughter said Kelly was so good and loved her.

Chuck our guide was great. He painted a picture so real it was like we were there. We want to go back again on our next visit to TN.

This evening my 13 year old daughter and I took the Women’s History Tour at the amazing Lotz House. I’ve been on Kelly’s day time tour of the home before, so I knew it would be great, but I was absolutely blown away by the evening tour! She is incredibly knowledgeable and easily brought to life some incredible women of Franklin, as well as a few others who weren’t from the area, but have had a great impact on our country. I really appreciated how she talked about the seemingly mundane aspects of life that relate to all of us today, to sharing some of the fantastic stories that were these women’s’ lives and experiences! On the way home, my daughter couldn’t stop talking about what she learned and how much she enjoyed the tour-and coming from a teenager, I think that alone speaks volumes! I grew up in Franklin and tonight Kelly gave me a new appreciation and love for my hometown. So thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us this evening, Kelly, and I sure hope this tour is an opportunity that more people will take advantage of, whether they live in the area or are visiting!

If you're in Tennessee tell your Uber driver to drive you to Franklin for the Lotz House tour. You will not be disappointed! They also have a small bit impressive Civil War gift shop! I can't wait to return!

Very cool historical site. My parents and I went with my 11 month old twins for the basic tour. It was $18 a person. There were several other people there and I had to carry the babies because no strollers or anything are allowed in the house due to all the antique furniture and stuff in there. I only got to see two rooms before I had to leave and give the babies a snack. The rooms were beautiful and all period correct with actual belongings from the house loaned by family members. The tour guide was very informative, my parents said upstairs and downstairs was really neat. I missed most of the tour but one of the employees was really sweet and gave me a little booklet thing so I could read and look at pictures of what I missed. If you pay for the basic tour you can still walk the grounds to see the garden, slave house, smoke house, spring house etc by yourself. The ground was hilly and bumpy so I wouldn't recommend pushing a stroller on it. Everything is maintained well and there are several signs explaining what things are. Right next door is the Confederate and McGavock family cemetery (including some of the slaves). The cemetery has several signs with information about it. Pretty sad past but very interesting. There's also a gift shop there where you buy your tour ticket. I wouldn't suggest bringing any small children here because they will be bored and it will be a struggle keeping them from touching things. Anyone handicapped would have a hard time you with all the standing and steep stairs to go upstairs plus all the walking outside. They have bathrooms right by the gift shop that were mostly clean.

Amazing historic house tied to the Battle of Franklin. Emily, our guide, was incredible, sharing stories. This house served as a hospital during the battle; you can still spot some of the scars! Be sure to explore the grounds, read the markers—such a captivating tale! Imagine, 40,000 soldiers surrounded this family home during the battle. In just five hours, 9,500 soldiers on both sides were affected—mind-blowing stats! Don't miss learning about the cemetery's history.Very clean bathrooms. Bet the gardens look amazing in the spring/summer!

Had such a great time on this tour of the Carnton Plantation. Our guide Carrie was extraordinary and did such a great job telling the story behind it all. Be sure to walk the grounds and visit the outbuildings and cemetery. A must see while in Franklin!

We walked the grounds and read the markers. Such a fascinating story. This family home was surrounded by 40,000 soldiers during the Battle of Franklin. After just five hours 9,500 American soldiers on both sides had either been killed, were wounded or were missing. The numbers are staggering. Be sure to read about the women of the area, including Sarah Gaunt and learn about the history of the cemetery. Clean bathrooms. The grounds were stroller and walker friendly. Gardens must be beautiful in the spring/summer.

We did the plantation and battlefield tour and it was very interesting and informative. Our tour guide was Joseph and he did a fabulous job on taking a trip back in time and our group wasn’t very big but we marched a very short distance in linear formation across a small area of the battlefield and he was describing the tense moments being under a artillery barrage and me and my fiancée loved it. We will return again, great experience very polite staff in the gift shop and Joseph rocked!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Hannah Jacobs and the girls at Carnton weddings and events. Phenomenal staff and planner. Hannah is accommodating, kind, gets the job done without asking anything (she just takes action and handles all situations and problems effortlessly taking stress off couples getting married.) One of the best experiences I have had at a venue while being the wedding photographer. I absolutely loved getting to photograph and be apart of the vendor team of Carnton for our couple's day. Such a fun group of people who are ready to make wedding day dreams come true. I would recommend not only Carnton but Hannah to ALL of my clients. She is a wonderful person and wedding planner and so organized.

Visiting this mansion was a great experience. Our guide was extremely prepared about the family and history and was so engaging. Lots of the furniture present in the house were retrieved back from the original family. The story of the battle adds an extra layer to the visit. Totally recommend it

Great tour guide. Much more laid back experience than other museums in the area where the list of “don’t do’s” bordered on ridiculous.

We chose the guided tour. By chance, our guide was Christian. I have never been on a tour that had a more knowledgeable guide! His love for this place was evident and he spoke with such compassion for those that lived and died on this site. It was wonderful!

WONDERFUL! Our guide, Sheila, not only knew lots of facts and history, but she weaved in the personal stories, too. She really helped me understand the battle here and the family’s role. The home has been restored in a beautiful manner. Wide open grounds to explore with markers around. Be sure to check out the cemetery and walk through the garden.It saves a few dollars to buy the combination ticket for here and Carter House nearby. Both worth a visit.

Excellent experience. Great tour. Interesting and informative. I learned some things. I won’t share all and I’ll let you experience this new knowledge yourself but do you know that Canton Plantation isn’t really a plantation, it’s a {blank}. What makes it {blank} is that instead of one cash crop it had more than one. Which ones? Well you better go find out.

Beautiful place, just don't ask the tour guide any questions. It's basically a quiet, guided tour where you listen. No interaction. The historical tour was rushed. I think if you pay this much money to go on a guided tour, your tour guide should know or be willing to answer questions at the end of her rehearsed script that they are reciting as we enter in each room. There should be a little bit of time for discussion or questions instead of feeling rushed from room to room. There are so many artifacts in every room that there's no time to actually look at them all because they only point out a certain few, and you're moving along. There wasn't a bunch of people waiting in line for a tour so we didn't need to rush. We bought the ticket package so hopefully the Carter house will be better.

We had a wonderful tour today of the house and grounds. Our tour guide was excellent. He was so informed and engaging. The group on our tour asked many questions from quizzical children to inspiring adults. We also enjoyed the book store. It provided a balanced approach in its offerings and quality. Thank you so much. Fascinating! If there was anything that I would add would be to give slaves their due by mentioning the quality of workmanship when building the house.

What an outstanding tour guide! I wish I had gotten his name, but the gentleman that hosted our tour was an amazing story teller and clearly enjoyed history.The house and grounds are outstanding as well. Having just come off a rushed and non-interactive tour of the Hermitage, we sure appreciated this place! If you’ve got to choose between the two for some reason, come here.

My husband and I planned to visit while on our honeymoon. They were quick with their response time and very accommodating. They even offered the ‘Amazing Grace’ tour to us on a day it is not scheduled. Our tour guide was well versed and knowledgeable. Beautiful and kept property. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Not my first time to Tailgate and not sure why I’ve never provided a review, so here it is! Great atmosphere and friendly service every experience! Tonight was no different.I had the month special which is too hard to explain, so see the picture. It had hot chicken and I did break a little sweat on the brow with it. My wife had the BBQ Chicken pizza and she ate the whole thing (which is unusual for her)!A great selection of beers and ciders made on site as well!Family friendly environment, but a great place to hang out with the friends. Tonight we sat inside, but there’s also a great outdoor seating area that is dog friendly.Definitely a place I’ll go back to again and again!!

Just go here! Locally owned and operated and it absolutely shows the whole way through! Everyone is so friendly here, the beer is excellent, so many great flavors and they just brew great tasting beer! Love the outdoor setup with all the tables. A really great peaceful place on this particular Sunday evening. I certainly hope they get packed at other times and when there are events going on. Go here and support the locals! They have a great situation going on over here!

First off don’t let the stars fool you, I really like this place and feel it has a ton of potential. However, eight dollars for a basic IPA pour in a plastic cup is approaching airport prices. What’s more, the place is run down in nonsensical areas, i’m not talking the taproom itself, as I actually prefer a more rustic beer hall, it is details like missing handles on the main entry, and bathrooms that rival a poorly maintained rest area.What bothers me are areas I see approaching the kitchen, and I have been to rundown gas stations with more working fixtures and nicer lighting in bathrooms.Overall, the beers are still good, the only reason I come back are those, the good main taproom feel, and friendly service.

I love this place. Really really great beer, and so many to choose from! Plus, the draft list is different every time I come in because they release beers every single week. Service is amazing; really friendly and knowledgeable team. Pizza is also really great! I got the Mexican Street Corn Pizza and it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Love the back patio too

Tailgate HQ is an incredible hang. Amazing beer and very good pizza, sammies, snax and soft serve. Super-friendly, helpful staff. Hubs says the reuben is the best in the city (bring back the reuben pizza please - it was INSPIRED). We love the backyard in the late afternoon / early evening. Lots of toddlers and doggies making the scene. A perfect Nashville original. So glad it’s just around the corner.

It was only our second time here. The first time was from few years ago. They have a lot of different options for beer, they also have bar foods that are tasty. Their pizza was pretty good too. They have soda available as well. There's the main building, then there is a barn outside, and they have actual outdoor seatings. I like that they are dog friendly. Overall we had a great time. We'll try to come back more often.

Best brewery in town, with the best bang for your literal buck! The perks of the membership are the best in the biz! The staff is always courteous and friendly, and the vibe and atmosphere are so lively. The large outdoor area at the Headquarters location is a great spot for movies they host on certain nights. Once you get the half priced pizza, you’ll find yourself coming back week over week because it’s a steal of a deal!

Literally the best staff of any brewery I've ever been to. Drove up from Ohio and this was the first stop. I wish I would've stayed there the entire day. Will probably drive back tomorrow. Wish it was closer to downtown bc this staff cannot be replaced.

This has become me and my husband's favorite brewery since living in Nash! Absolutely love the vibe any day of the week. So many fun specials throughout the week, as well as fun beer and lots of good food (pizza being my personal favorite!) Such an amazing place. The beer variety is better than any other microbrewery. The staff was amazing. We made a new friend there today(our Phoenix/California native bartender, wish we had gotten her name). We had a great time and good conversation. Cant wait to share the apricot sour with our friends back in Ohio. Nashville is an annual visit for us and we always make the trip to this brewery. Can't wait to come back next year hopefully with friends. One of the many reasons why retirement will bring me to the Nashville area permanently.

Tailgate HQ is the best brewery location in Nashville! They have an awesome beer selection, a huge back patio (and indoor spaces), and the pizza is great (our favorite is the whipped ricotta).

What a great place to stop for beer and a bite to eat! This place is full of personality including their staff.We were passing through coming from Pennsylvania and needed to take a break. As soon as we entered we were greeted and were given instructions on where to go and how to order (one bar for drinks and the other for food but you can have one tab between the two).The bartenders were helpful with recommendations! I personally always get a sampler and the sours were fantastic. The pizza was fresh and delicious so don't sleep on it.

This is actually the Antioch Location at Tanger outlet. I walked in to the counter to place my order. The guy that helped me last night was super helpful and engaging, I’m not a beer drinker but wanted to try some. He let me sample anything I asked for, he gave honest opinions: I ended up with a flight and small pizza. I would give this place a 10 as long as they hire staff like those they have now. Everyone was super nice. We are super excited to have you in Antioch. Stay nice !

Great location with a view!! Staff is super friendly and greeted with a smile. They have tons of beers on tap which allows you more if a selection. The specialty pizzas are amazing. We did the Taco pizza and the mac and cheese pizza and everyone loved them. Great location to bring the office out for drinks or have a birthday party at. Tons of people bought their dogs and enjoyed the ambiance. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

I LOVE tailgate!!! It’s always one of my favorite places to get good food, drinks and hang out! They’ve got plenty of seating inside and out, the drinks are great, the staff is very friendly, and the food is always good!! I highly recommend the flights!

This place was awesome!!!! Our tour guides were great! Cooper was our first guide and showed us around the historic cabin the Bell family lived in. The second tour guides name was Eric. He took us through the Bell Witch Cave. Eric was great! A born story teller and made sure to show us all of the really cool places and it’s history. All of the employees we interacted with were very helpful and loved telling us about the history and answering all of our questions. If you’re interested in witches, spirits, and history then this place is a must go!!!!!

I absolutely loved going into the cave. The tour guide was super friendly and there to assist with whatever our group needed. The cabin was okay, but not what I really expected. The tour guide for that portion was super knowledgeable about the Bell background and old stories.

We have wanted to check this place out forever and finally decided to on a whim Friday night. It was a little busy but nothing too crazy. The tour was supposed to start at 10, it started at 10:30. No biggie but I feel like they could remedy this problem somehow. The way people talked they always run 30 minutes behind. Cave was awesome even without paranormal events. Overall great experience and no regrets.

Beautiful yet creepy place to visit! It's a must see place. The owners of this property were very nice. The property is beautiful and well kept. We loved the tour and hearing the history. Take pictures inside the cave. I even had a couple of pictures that I did not take show up in my gallery..... creepy!

What an absolutely amazing experience!! I took 3 of my boys (10, 8, 5). They have watched countless documentaries preparing to come. The tour guide was awesome. She told the story so well and answered all the questions. Being in the cave was so eerie and awesome. My kids are begging to come back!

I had been wanting to come here for years and finally got the chance to and it did not dissapoint.The tour of the cabins were informative and engaging, and the short walk to the cave was gorgeous.Not to mention the tour inside the cave which was breath taking, and also slightly haunting.I took my 9 year old son with me and even he found it all engaging.Prices were not bad, and I even purchased a shot glass for my collection. Over all definitely worth a visit!We will be coming back!

Bell Witch Cave was fun. We had a great time. My grandson was so brave going into the cave. Wear comfortable but sturdy shoes. I have arthritis and all the walking on uneven ground played havoc on my knees.

Kind of a long review, but I'm going to include as many helpful tips as I can remember, so bear with me...Visiting the Bell Witch Cave is such a fun experience, especially around Halloween. The price is very reasonable, $23 per adult for a tour of the cabin as well as the cave. The guide for the cabin tour will gather your group on the steps of the cabin & tell you a history of the Bell family & the legend surrounding the witch's curse, then they allow you to explore the cabin rooms on a self guided tour which ends in the small one room museum, which displays news articles, photographs, & artifacts related to the property.After the cabin tour you follow a trail beside the cabin down to the cave, just a heads up, this area is not wheelchair accessible & you do have to walk down a steep hill, first grass, then gravel, there are a few stairs as well, keep this in mind when planning your visit & I highly recommend wearing appropriate walking shoes or boots, I always wear boots because the cave itself does have water running through it that you WILL have to walk through.The cave itself is not very large, at least the areas open to the public, it primarily consists of two large chambers & two passage ways, the first passage way is fairly easy to walk through, the second is much more narrow, you will have to duck down at times & you will be walking over water & somewhat slippery stones, there is some climbing involved in the second chamber, but you are given the opportunity to opt out of climbing or opt out of the second chamber entirely. The tour guides explain all of this & give you opportunity to leave before proceeding. If you are comfortable with the narrow pathway & the stream you walk through, I highly recommend visiting both chambers, the cave is absolutely beautiful & well worth the visit.The tour guides are very well informed on the history of the property as well as the legend of the Bell witch & the Bell family. Our guides this year, Carly & Amelia, were absolutely wonderful. They told us about the history of the cave & the surrounding area, they were able to answer all of the groups questions & they made the tour incredibly fun!Amelia was the guide for the first chamber & she is very knowledgeable & an excellent story teller, she kept it fun & informative & she also managed to navigate her way over the rocks & through the cave while wearing a beautiful skirt, she never tripped or dropped any of her papers, which I found incredibly impressive.Carly was the guide for the second chamber & she managed to climb the rocks & tread through the water in a beautiful skirt as well. (They need recognition, it's not easy being graceful in a muddy cave while wearing a long skirt...just saying. Credit where it's due 😁)Also, there are a large number of spiders in the cave (arachnophobes beware), Carly was not only guiding us safely through the second passage, but prevented us from face planting into the spiders as well....much appreciated!My adult daughter experienced some light headedness in the second chamber of the cave due to a heart condition (we thought the tour wouldn't be too much for her, we were wrong), so we were the last ones out & it took us longer than expected to leave, it was the end of the night, nearing midnight, & both guides were so patient & incredibly friendly, showing nothing but professionalism & concern. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Aside from the tours, there is also a haunted hayride, $20 per adult, & who doesn't love a haunted hayride?! We didn't have time for it this trip, but we've taken it in previous visits & it's just old fashioned Halloween fun. We plan to go back later on this month just for the hayride.There are concessions offered as well, various different food items, cold beverages, hot chocolate, & coffee. They also have a gift shop you can visit at the end of the tour.Parking is in a level field, there is no charge for parking. There are porta john restrooms on site.Check the weather before you go, due to the water in the cave, it will flood, causing tours to cancel for safety.

Number 2: Bell WitchThe story of the Bell Witch of Tennessee began circulating in the early 1800's, after Farmer John Bell and his family moved to the community of Red River, Tennessee, from North Carolina. Before long, the family started reporting a variety of STRANGE incidents. These included whispering voices similar to those of old women singing hymns, night terrors about RATS gnawing away at the family's beds, and the sighting of a bizarre animal, which appeared to be a hybrid between a rabbit and a dog. A spirit believed to have been that of a woman called Kate Batts began haunting Bell's home. The entity was able to speak, change form, and EVEN affect the physical environment. According to legends, the family also discovered a vial an unknown liquid inside the house. They gave a dose of the liquid to their cat, and their animal died on the spot. As the story goes, before he became president, Andrew Jackson had heard of Bell's troubles, and decided to investigate the haunting. He, and several of his men, including a witch-slayer that carried silver bullets in his gun, visited Bell's farm, and it was JACKSON, who dubbed the presence, the "Bell Witch." By 1820, John Bell had grown ill due to the witch's constant torment. By some accounts, it was the witch that actually poisoned him. After his funeral, the sounds of laughter and SINGING could be heard coming from the graveyard, and Bell became the only person in history whose death was attributed to the actions of a spirit.

I honestly do not even know where to start. Miss Candy is a wonderful, sweet lady and I am so glad she was our guide! She gives a ton of information during, some is first hand experience and some is through research her family has found when purchasing the property. The land was just amazing to be on. The cave is just magical. What a sight to behold. It is something everyone should get to experience. Especially if you know the story. The ancient history goes back thousands of years. It is very active so protect yourself! I highly, highly recommend the night lantern tours. They are 2 hours and 3 hours. I did the 2 hours, and it flew by. I can't say enough about this place. It's something you really have to check out for yourself.

We had so much fun going on the tour !! The people that did the tour was wonderful and friendly , it was rainy out that day but didn’t stop us from going. If you go make sure you wear good tennis shoes that you don’t care if they get dirty. But the people were wonderful and they gave us a lot of back story which made it all the more fun. I definitely recommend it !!!

I planned the cave tour for a date night with my husband. We had a great time! It was very busy, (visited in October, at dark) and our ticket reservation had gotten a little behind but we didn’t mind! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, from the cabin tour to inside the cave! I recommend everyone check this place out!!

Worth visiting definitely. Make sure to wear shoes with good traction. It's a little slippery and I was slipping n sliding. We were in the last group of the day. Very spooky 👻. Make sure to bring a dollar to leave so nothing follows you home!!

Definitely not worth the time ! The house isn’t even the original house. The cave is small, and not what was expectedThe female tour guide has been at everything we’ve done this summer, from River Adventures, Bell Witch Tanking, and now this🙄 The stories she told wasn’t even believable, due to her saying multiple times “ no let me stop! MY BAD, that wasn’t me …..it was a co-worker”. UGH. So FAKE

A great outting for the spooky season! If you are a fan of scary stories, horror, witches, or caves, this is must do! Great for friends, couples and families. We were the only tourists there, everyone else seemed like locals. There is a cute waiting area with games and a place to order snacks, food, and warm drinks. (Wish they had hot cider though).We did this last minute on a whim and were so happy we did. This was our first time in Tennessee and we enjoy Halloween & spooky things. My boyfriend found it on google and so we booked the cabin and cave tour. There are also hayrides in the evening. The story in the cabin was really intresting and the kid's room super creepy.The cave was bigger and way more interesting than we expected. Even if you aren't a believer, the cave its self is worth the tour to explore. For tall folks, the path gets narrow and low. I am 5"2 and I was mostly short enough not to hit my head. The cave has many new stalatites forming as well as geodes so it's pretty cool looking. But be careful! Don't take anything from the cave cause those who have tend to suddenly get loads of bad luck. There is even a binder of all the letters from guests who have taken a stone, geode etc. from the cave and mailed it back. So you've been warned!The day we went, it was freezing cold! So I recommend wearing layers or bringing a large scarf or blanket just in case. Overall, we had great guides who seemed to enjoy their jobs and telling the Bell Witch Stories. Our guide in the cave even showed us scratches guests have suddenly got in the cave along with spooky things people have seen in the cave. Unfortunately, our tour was very normal haha! Probably for the best :)

The room in the back of the cabin was really neat with all the history/articles. The cave was beautiful, just very crowded and it was difficult for some guests due to loose rocks and the narrowness of some passageways. Great stories in the cave. Would love to learn more about the Native American burial sites. My only complaint is that the tour guide we had -young girl dressed as poison ivy would have delivered the story / history better. She seemed either exhausted or frustrated. She couldn't relay much information.

The owners were really nice and friendly. Cooper was our guide with the cabin and was very informative. The young girl who actually took us through the cave was nice but shouldn’t be a tour guide for the cave. She just wasn’t very informative and seemed to want to get in and out of the cave. There wasn’t anytime to really look around or listen for noises or anything. It was fun but not a WOW experience like I was hoping.
